"No” the girl answered “I have too much at stake to start ditching, especially when we have no idea where Miss Kishi is." Jamie’s face lit up as she heard that. Thank god, at least she’ll have someone to talk to.. “ So.. you’re not annoyed by how much I talk?” she asked.
“WHERE IS SHE?” Jamie’s blood suddenly congealed in her veins, as she heard the oh-so familiar voice. It was Veronica Kishi. She burst through the door as a lightning stuck behind her. The woman was furious. Did..did she hear everything? Jamie’s head began to spin. It was all her fault. Why did she have to be so stupid? If she could’ve just kept her huge mouth shut…
Miss Kishi gave Nerissa some papers then disappeared. She went to look for Amanda. Jamie let out a faint “fuck..” Now Amanda is gonna get punished because of her. She needs to warn her.. but how? It’s not like she has her number..maybe she could write to her on facebook? She looked down at her dysfunctional wet phone. Yep… this isn’t gonna work. Jamie was getting more anxious by the minute. The teacher said no one could leave this room. Well what are they gonna do now? Just wait around in silence until miss Kishi comes back. She was forced out of her shock state however when the door burst open once more. Jamie jumped at the loud noise. It was one of Emery’s friends. She probably got a text that Miss Kishi would be here. “You just missed her…” she said in a traumatized, quiet tone “She went to search for Amanda..”

For a moment, Zak was worried Emery wouldn't, but of course she eventually started working on him. Maybe he should ask her to be his wingman next party. Except, he didn't fully trust she wouldn't warn the other girls about him. Nothing hurt Zak's game more than the truth.
"Let me guess, you got your eyes set on a new one this week?" The sheepish grin definitely gave him away. Of course he did, what better benefit of the drama club than to tap the most beautiful girl there? Not that he'd ever quite word it like that around Rebecca, she was fancy, like a big 'treat with caution' sign had been plastered to her... perfect body. Weirdly enough, Zak felt himself salivating at the thought. Better get back to reality before Emery caught whiff of his ideas.
"So who is it this week?" Zak turned around with a boyish grin to catch another glimpse at Rebecca, but quickly noticed she was no longer sitting there. Oh. What the hell am I getting done up for, then? Still, he let Emery finish. She would probably come back after teacher had rounded them all up. He wondered briefly if he should message her on Facebook, but one of her friends would probably already have done so to warn her. She'd be back soon, the thought putting another smile on his lips.
"Just the prettiest girl in the club," he said dreamily. Then a flash of genius struck, and he had the good sense to quickly add: "Except you, of course."
He smiled gratefully when she finished, and grinned wider at her next remarks. "I could just hire you as my fixer-upper. I plan on needing loads." If, as she said, his flirting works. He had a good feeling about this one, though. She'd waved back. She was definitely interested.

Naya arrived just as the door slammed shut after Peyton. She pushed it open and ran through, immediately spotting Chris by the window. She approached him.
"Thank you so much, you're a star!" she grinned. Bless him, he didn't have to warn her, considering they barely knew each other, but he had. This just affirmed to Naya that he was definitely a sweet guy, and someone she could trust, "If you ever need a favour, consider me in your debt!"
Naya spotted Emery, sat with Peyton and someone she recognised as being called Zak, but that she didn't know very well. That made her a little nervous, but being best friends with Emery had brought many people into her life that she'd never have had the courage to speak to. Although Naya wasn't totally socially inept (she liked to think, anyway), Emery was definitely a friend of the world, and seemed to know everyone personally, whilst Naya knew people through Emery. So, despite perhaps being a little awkward, she knew she could deal with being around someone she didn't know very well, something that before Em she'd never have dreamed of.
She waved a goodbye to Chris, before going over and immediately hugging Emery.
"Thank you for texting me! Are you okay? Is Al okay?" she asked as she pulled away, grabbing a chair and sitting with the group, "Did Miss Kishi say anything about the new show?"

Post by Kairi Matsumoto on Jun 30, 2018 16:10:05 GMT
“So... you’re not annoyed by how much I talk?” Jamie’s hesitant question took Kairi by surprise. She had become so accustomed to the little girl’s non-stop chatter that it never once occurred to Kairi that her silence would ultimately take a tole on Jamie’s confidence. Shiori never let Kairi’s non-responsive demeanour deter her stories that were undoubtedly riddled with hyperbole. Then again Shiori knew Kairi in her entirety, Jamie did not.
Kairi let her softer side show - which she seldomed did at school - and smiled down at Jamie. “Not at all, in fact I rather enjoy your company. You remind me of my little sister.”
Jamie's eyes brightened with such a captivating warmth, and in that moment Kairi knew she was in trouble. She may not know it yet, but the little brunette officially had Kairi wrapped around her finger - which was a dangerous predicament, for if anyone were to negatively cross Jamie, Kairi would not hesitate to risk expulsion in defense of the young girl.
The feeling both scared and calmed Kairi as she decided to embrace the rare, but familiar, feeling of purpose.
Allowing Jamie a moment to let her revelation sink in, Kairi let her eyes wander to where a black and white haired girl - recalling her name to be Emery - tended to Zak's appearance. She resisted the urge to roll her eyes at the blatant euphoria etched upon the boy's face - the bastard looked like he was about to go into heat, what the hell kind of fantasy had he spawned in that perverse little mind of his?
She hoped he wasn't thinking crude thoughts of Emery - God, there were so many guys in this club Kairi wanted to punch! As much as she believed in The Red Lilacs and their cause, she couldn't help but notice she had developed a rather potent bias toward men and their egotistical, sex-fueled behaviour. However, acknowledging one had a problem did not mean one possessed the will to change, and Kairi had no interest in giving any man the benefit-of-doubt. She had simply seen too much of the worse case scenario.
To Kairi's peace of mind, Emery seemed like a girl who could handle herself, but that didn't mean Kairi wouldn't be lurking in the shadows. Emery carried herself well and had a head on her shoulders - a very beautiful head Kairi noticed.

Which Al?
|
Post by Alejandra Ramirez on Jun 30, 2018 21:11:44 GMT
Al felt her nerves grow more raw as she waited for a response in the group chat. Esme she was sure got it, the girl was good about checking her phone, but other Al she was never sure of. He had a habit of ignoring his phone when he felt like it. And given what happened before he stormed off, he probably was gonna. If he doesn't reply in the next fifteen seconds, I'm gonna go all caps. she thought, a frown etching onto her lips.
Just as she thought it though, a text popped up. No doubt he sensed her rising frustration and worry. Or was finally learning his lesson. Yeah right. As she looked at the text, she felt that frustration grow.
ALMighty: now is not the FUCKING time!!!!!!! she heard about amandas little club and she is on a murder rampage. we are talking m-word level bad!!!! GET HERE THE FUCK NOW!
With a growl, she hit send and pocketed her phone before the urge to continue to cuss out her friend. Feeling the need to do something to distract herself, she moved further into the room, eyes looking about. When she spotted Naya and Emery together and made a beeline for them. "I'm so on edge." she groaned out, eyes flickering towards Zak briefly before she focused on her two friends. "I'm pretty sure I'm going to get an ulcer from all this." Rolling her shoulders, she tried to shake out her frayed nerves. "How are you guys holding up?"

Post by Catherine "Pidge" Santorini on Jun 30, 2018 22:14:43 GMT
"If anyone wants to text their friends to get back to the auditorium before miss Kishi comes back this would be an appropriate time."
Pidge made her way back after hearing Nerissa direct the small percentage of club members who were in the auditorium. "As you wish." She gave a small salute towards the big-nosed woman and made her way back to a seat. She put her feet up on the seat in front of her and adjusted her glasses again.
She heard Naya ask someone, probably Emery, if Ms. Kishi had said anything about the new show, and she responded hesitantly, unsure if she was interrupting their current conversation, "It's Heathers, Naya. I sneaked over and saw the script Nerissa was given. " She then turned towards a frazzled out Al who was a couple seats ahead of her. The techie stood up and hopped into an empty seat next to her. "Is everything alright, Al?" She somewhat answered her own question when she saw Al typing an exclamation mark-filled message in response to the other Al's nonchalance to the fury of the drama teacher. "Oh... somebody's gonna die young."

Post by Copper on Jun 30, 2018 22:41:41 GMT
Copper was sniffing around, wagging his tail left and right. Up and down, left and right, there were endless corridors and NO FOOD. Well, at least it was warm in here, and this place was FILLED with thousands of smells! That, of course, whipped up the "good boy's" curiosity!
Soon enough, the pupper got extremely curious about the giant door to the auditorium. Seemed like this place was infested with tons of "long-legs" and he could even feel the faint smell of his master. Maybe he can also be there? The dog scratched on the door meekly, hoping that one of those "long-legs" would actually open it and feed him.
[OFF-TOP: If somebody opens the door - you will get into "action" mode. Each character will have to roll the dice to interact with Copper - further instructions will be listed in the next Copper's post. If you don't want to interact with the dog, you can leave just a regular post.]

At his flirt, she couldn't help but roll her eyes. "You're not bad yourself," She smirked, laughing right after he told her he could hire her as his fixer-upper. "Oh yeah? The question is though, will you be able to afford me?" She asked with a raised eyebrow before Peyton and Naya came running in. Both of them asking where Veronica was, how she was doing and how was Al. But for a bit she couldn't help but stare at them wide eyed. Their sudden appearence making her very confused and shocked for a moment. She had to shake her head a little to get back to reality for a moment.
"Uh, Miss. Kishi just left, I am fine and so is Al. He went to see if Misha was okay, but I made sure to text him as well. But he hasn't come back so I'm wondering if I need to retext him. Also thew new musical is Heathers," She stated, taking out her phone to text Al.
───
"Al, I love you, but you need to get your ass back here before Miss. Kish comes back!"
───
After that she put her phone away, which was when Alejandra came up to them, telling them how she was going to get an ulcer from everything. "Geez, I hope not, do you need a water?" She asked, "And I'm good, what about all of you?" She asked, and she was going to talk more when she heard what sounded like scratching at the doors, her head snapping to the doors. Nothing happen though, so she was wondering if she just heard that or if it was all a figment of her imagination. "Did any of y'all heard that? I swore I just heard what seemed like scratching," She pointed to the door, looking at the rest of them.

Post by Peyton Cross on Jul 1, 2018 9:03:51 GMT
Peyton twiddled her fingers waiting for Emery to answer, taking sudden notice how Naya was now next to her. Was this girl the Flash or something?
Emery began to explain the situation, but Peyton had tuned her out due to a young brunette answering her question.
“You just missed her. She went to search for Amanda,” the girl said. She looked extremely shaken up. Guess Miss Kishi must’ve been really pissed. Peyton didn’t really know the girl’s name, but she did recognize the other girl sitting next to her: Kairi. Peyton had bumped into her once or twice back stage, but something about her always rubbed the wrong way. Kairi never really spoke to her but…observed her. It often made her uncomfortable and question what Kairi was actually observing. But Kairi seemed too busy stitching some clothes at the moment to look at her. Before she could answer the brunette, Peyton caught the last bit of Emery’s words.
“Also the new musical is Heathers,” she said.
“What? Are you serious?! Great, the last thing we need is a fucking musical about unrealistic popular girls and angsty teenagers trying to come off as sympathetic. Uh…but I’m sure you’ll be amazing, Songbird,” Peyton said to her friend. She often called her that due to Emery’s passionate singing. She sat down next to her, with Kairi only a few inches away.

“What? Are you serious?! Great, the last thing we need is a fucking musical about unrealistic popular girls and angsty teenagers trying to come off as sympathetic." Isn't that what all these plays are about? Zak thought to himself. Romeo and Juliet, Beauty and The Beast, all those other ones he didn't know the names of... He'd honestly never heard of Heathers, but it didn't much matter to him which show they were doing. He'd be sleeping in the props room anyway.
Except Emery, he didn't really know these girls that well, and honestly speaking, neither of them caught his eye very much. Besides, they were talking musicals now, ugh. Also, he was getting ridiculously curious about the scratching on the door, he'd heard it too. Maybe someone had locked the door as a joke and people outside were desperate to get in. The thought made him laugh a bit.
Taking Emery's hand, he gave it a quick kiss. "Ever grateful for your service, m'lady," he said and stood to leave. "I'll go check out that noise." For a brief moment as he walked over to the door he let himself hope that something interesting was actually going to happen, but he was kidding himself and knew it. Nothing interesting ever actually happened in the auditorium. Well, there was the fight earlier, but sadly he'd missed that.
Taking hold of the handle the first thing he noticed was that it wasn't locked. So no prank, then. How boring. He considered locking it himself to see the reactions of panicked pupils who couldn't get in to avert Kishi's wrath. But someone else would just open it for them, these people were so boring. With a half sigh he pushed forward and opened the door.

Copper let out one muffled bark and let his tongue roll out of his mouth. It's a miracle! The door was opening on its own! Like a swift wind the dog wiggled his way inside the room and started to run around in circles, barking loudly! On his way inside the first person he managed to bump into was poor Narissa. Under the impact of unstoppable force the girl fell down on the floor; the scipt for the future musical flew out of her hands in the air, numerous pages now were landing all over the place! What a mess!
[OFF-TOP: and now it's time to practice to roll the dice! Sometimes if you want to interact with the object/npc you need to pick one of the available options and "roll the dice". This is how it works: you write down and describe your character surroundings/actions like u do in a regular post and by the end of the post u add "[OFF: Amanda has decided to catch the dog] or [OFF-TOP: trying to catch the dog]". Using rolz.org I roll the D10 for you and describe the results in the next post as an npc/from the admin account if u were interacting with an inanimate object. I promise I love you all equally so I don't have a reason to cheat and favor only one of you!

Post by Nerissa Clark on Jul 1, 2018 13:08:48 GMT
Nerissa began to leaf through the script while others were hurrying on their cell phones to text their friends. That then reminded her that she had not seen Naomi around in a while. Perhaps she had gone out too. Nerissa placed the scripts under her arm and reached for her phone and texted a short message to Naomi.
Heads up. Miss Kishi was just here and she is livid. If you are not here I suggest you come back to the auditorium asap.
N. Then pressing send she put her phone away and began to flip through the pages of the script. She zoned out again on the general conversation, instead focusing her efforts into trying to cast the play in her head like miss Kishi had probably done already, also trying to imagine the props and scenery they would need to pull this off. When all of a sudden she was brought back to earth by a loud bark and the next thing she knew there was a flash of brown and two huge paws landing on her shoulders. The impact of the offending thing caused her to lose her balance and fall on her ass on the floor. The papers she had held were now floating through the air and her rear was hurting from the impact. As she looked for the cause of her current condition she saw a big brown dog running around the auditorium. With a grunt she got back on her feet and dusted herself off. Directing a piercing gaze towards the dog she then took on a commanding voice. "Sit!!" The dog didn't have a collar, but maybe he still had a microchip, so there was a chance that if she got the dog to obey her she could see who it belonged to.

The dog turned around and questioningly tillted his head to the left. What did that two-leg mean? Copper sniffed one of the nearby laying pages. Indeed, what an unruly dog, his attention span was non-exciting! After a solid half a second of sniffing, the dog barked again and, his tail waggling wildly, he raised his butt in the air, ready to play! Dice result: 4, unsuccessful

“Not at all, in fact I rather enjoy your company. You remind me of my little sister.” Jamie looked up at Kairi. The girl was smiling. It was definitely an unusual sight, but it made the brunette’s heart melt. She always wanted an older sister..her relationship with her little brother wasn’t exactly good. They never really talked that much. He was usually in his room.. he didn’t like to be bothered. Jamie smiled back at Kairi. The girl always knew that the raven-haired was a caring person under the tough demeanor.
But their moment was interrupted by the sound of scratching outside the door. "I'll go check out that noise." said a guy and immediately walked up to the door and opened it.
A huge dog burst through the door right away, it started running and barking. Jamie let out a scream. She was more of a cat person, and big dogs always scared her, the puppy then went on to knock Nerissa right off her feet, which caused the script she was holding landing on the floor with pages all over the place. Nerissa tried to make him sit but the dog didn’t understand. Jamie started looking through her backpack and found a leftover sandwich.
“Hey puppy! You hungry?” she said swaying the bag contaning the sanwich… hopefully this’ll catch the dog’s eye.

FOOD! Copper immediately approached the girl with the sandwich and let out a quite muffled bark. His master taught him to not take food from the strangers BUT this sandwich was sooo close! And so yummy! And he was as hungry as a raptor!
The puppy wagged his tail slowly and waited for the futher "long-legs" actions.
Dice result: 9, success!
