Post by Catherine "Pidge" Santorini on Jun 29, 2018 2:16:07 GMT
Pidge's eyes fluttered open as she found herself in a somewhat familiar place. It hurt as she sat back up; she rubbed her cheek, feeling what seemed like imprints. She must've fell asleep on something, probably the light board in the auditorium. She stretched her hand to her right and flailed it around until its fingers caught onto thin wire rims. She flicked her glasses onto the bridge of her nose. It was confirmed; she most definitely fell asleep in the tech booth. Who could blame her? She hadn't got much sleep the night before and it just kind of occurred.
Catherine normally got to school earlier than the rest of her drama club friends... acquaintances... whatever they were, since she rode with her dad. Normally she'd go to her first period class and get some studying or homework she didn't complete for that class yet or hang out with the principal or her father a bit more, but sometimes, she'd hang out in the booth and play with the lights or sounds, or sometimes even turn on the microphones before anyone got there and watch from above as the unfortunate person be startled with how loud everything suddenly became. That idea has been on hiatus though, since Ms. Kishi and some other upperclassmen checked the mics before starting practice. Speaking of practice, it must have started without her, it seems. Thank goodness she asked Naomi to cover for her yesterday. Pidge got up, put some strands of hair behind her face, and observed the drama club members from above. Shenanigans must have already occurred. A few people were leaving the room and it had looked as if a fight had broken out. And I missed it? Dammit... She thought to herself as she grabbed her things and went down to the auditorium.
"Okay." She adjusted her glasses and got onto the stage, "Can anyone please tell me what the hell went down?"

Rebecca groaned lightly, her frame annoyed. she saw Zak, and gave a small wave too him- not noticing the wink right away-.Rebecca picked up her things, her bag and headed out of the auditorium to get some air, and quiet...that long black hair of hers flew behind her,she headed towards the Cafeteria, first, how ever, to get a snack from the vending machines. lightning seemed to strike every wall , sounds booming off of it- she'd look around to see if any-one else was here, but - she was glad they weren't- after she got her snack she sat down on a bench and took out her phone again , playing some music to sing too, she was more calm when she sang. She could not believe they had been fighting.. it drove her anxiety up.
(OOC: if any-one want's to come join Becca, you can! <33.)

Emery walked back into the Auditorium, notebook in head as she walked to her backpack to take out some homework she needed to do. Which was Math, oh joy. Math was something she didn't want to do right now, but she needed to do something. From what she saw a lot of people had left the auditorium so it was time to stop playing around and just study. So with a sigh she grabbed her stuffed and moved over to the corner where she could be alone, but still in sight incase anyone wanted her. She walked to the closest table where she wanted to be. When she looked at the table she had the instant need to just lay down. Feeling a bit tired.
She groaned and placed what she needed onto the desk before climbing onto the table. Might as well be comfy, She thought to herself as she laid on her stomach. The table was strong, but due to her being so short and light there was no scare of it breaking underneath her. Once comfy she lifted her legs behind her, her right one crossing infront of the other. She then took her phone out of her pocket and immediately shot Ryan a text.
───
"Hey Ryan, I just wanted to say that I'm extremely sorry. I got too lost with joking with everyone else.. I have no excuse, and for that I am sorry. I hope you can forgive me."
─── When the text was sent she placed it on the table and flipped her Math book to where it needed to be. She picked up her pen, writing all of the notes in her notebook. Slowly getting lost into the world of studying. And she couldn't help but thank God that she was better at Math than she was last year. Cause for once she finally understood what she was doing. She still hated it tho.
While she worked on her homework, she gently sung Million Dreams from The Greatest Showman. Her lovely voice carrying the song with ease. A voice that showed how much she had practice and how beautiful she could sing. After all, out of all three of her talents, singing was her best one. And it showed.

Zak was well on his way to Rebecca, wanting to seize the moment. She had waved back at him, obviously that meant he had a chance. Also, she was sitting alone. He'd be a fool not to take this opportunity! A grin on his face, he had started making his way over when Emery had walked past him to a desk.
He stopped, contemplating, internally groaning. She would probably be mad he'd missed whatever the hell this meeting was supposed to be, but he should potentially figure out what it was anyway. He wouldn't want to have been assigned the role of Juliet and not realize before rehearsals began. Not that he'd ever be assigned an actual acting role, nor that he wanted one, but the paranoia was eating at him.
He looked from Rebecca to Emery and back. Ugh, whatever, he probably didn't look great after that nap anyway, maybe Emery could make him presentable before he made his move. Begrudgingly he turned on his heel and made his way to Emery, feeling a little annoyed at her despite her not having done anything.
"Hi, Em," he said and dropped down in the seat next to the table she was on. "What did I miss?" Let the scolding commence...

As the girl was looking around she saw guy walking out of the costume room and a girl from the probably the tech room. Both of them looked like they just woke up from a nap. Jamie rolled her eyes. "Slackers" she thought. It was really boring just sitting around. She watched as Emery started writing her homework. Jamie thought that is a productive way to spend the time while the teacher arrives, but she just wasn't feeling like writing homework. "I'll do it at home later.." she thought as she took out her phone which was also soaked in water. Dangit why didn't she have some rice with her? Her thought process was interrupted however by the girl from the tech room. "Okay. Can anyone please tell me what the hell went down?" a smirk appeared on Jamie's face as the words reached her. Well the girl was asking the right person. She cleared her throat and started jabbering.
"So Amanda came in with a bunch of board games and she said she wanted to start a new club where they would play games, which is kinda boring if you ask me, I mean I don't really like board games but anyway, so then the teacher just wasn't turning up and we were just talking when all of a sudden I heard a loud noise and turns out Ryan hit Alex.. I don't really know the reason but he probably did a prank on him and he took it to heart. Oh.. but don't worry I'm sure Alex is fine. Emery went after him, she probably knows better than I. Right Em?"she asked but continued immidiately"Anyway Ryan was escorted outside by Nacny, Amanda left with two girls I think to grab a drink and a bunch of other people left after that.So yep. This is all I know" she finished with a large smile, and waited for the girl (who's name she still didn't remember) to take it all in.

"She wanted WHAT?"
A streak of lightning slashed through the sky and just a few seconds after a clap of thunder echoed through the auditorium. Sabotage! Not only her stupid ex-husband blocked her way out of the apartment, begging her to change her mind about his wimp dick and his dickish behavior, but now her own students were about to disrupt her one and only true meaning to life for! And it all happened when for the fucking first time in her life she sadly was "a bit" late! "Where is SHE?" Veronica walked into the room, her eyebrows furrowed in rage. She didn't even care about Ryan or Alex. The principal kid can do whatever the hell he wants! Her baby, her club was frustrated by some "whimp"! Partly, of course, it wasn't Amanda's fault that Veronica was already in a pretty shitty mood, but oh well, she needed to take her anger on somebody. The woman looked around, counting the students. More than 1/4 were missing. Did they follow that filthy traitor ALREADY? Her upper lip cringed in disgust. The teacher approached her one and only trust-worthy person, Nerissa, and shove the script of the Halloween musical in her hands. In big cursive letters, you could see "HEATHERS" written on the top of the first page. "Take this," she commanded Nerissa. She assumed that a lot of actors already knew the plot (maybe through a book or a movie), even though they've never performed this specific musical in the past. "NOBODY can leave the room! That's an order," and with those words she headed out of the room, her heels clattering on the hallway's floor. [OFF-TOP: orders can be broken though, so, dw, you are still allowed to leave the auditorium!]

Post by Catherine "Pidge" Santorini on Jun 29, 2018 17:24:27 GMT
A brunette girl, she didn't remember her name very well (Jane, was it? Something with a J) decided to fill her in on the inside scoop. Apparently, Amanda brought a couple of board games to the auditorium and asked members if they wanted to join a new one. Pidge didn't find it as boring as her informer said, but more idiotic. Why would you start a brand new club while you're in the middle of another one? The next most interesting thing that happened was that her fistfight suspicions were confirmed... between Al and Ryan. Somebody had better apologize by the time club ends, so help me God, she thought to herself as she sighed.
Suddenly, lightning struck and Ms. Kishi entered the room, almost as if she had been waiting outside the door for a dramatic entrance. Katie followed her to see what she was going to do next. She shoved a script into Nerissa's hands. So HEATHERS was going to be the next show... Gee... I wonder why she chose that one? It definitely wasn't because all of her favorite 'lovelies' couldn't stop talking about it or singing it before rehearsal started. Pidge could already envision a cast in her head. Kishi would definitely give her niece Veronica, Martha would be Nerissa based on looks alone, Philip would be JD, and the titular Heathers would consist of Arielle, Thalia, and maybe Elizabeth as Heather Mcnamara. Basically, anyone who was close to Veronica, pretty, and taller than 5'5" was perfect and suitable for leads in her book.
Pidge made her way closer to the door and followed the teacher. "Nice job on the play selection, Ms. Kishi," she lied. What she really wanted to say to her was, "Nice job on the play selection, Ms. Kishi. It's not like school shootings are a currently a recurring problem, so there's no possible way that this show could be acceptable." However, she was currently on thin ice with the woman and didn't want her to be more pissed off than she already was.

Post by Nerissa Clark on Jun 29, 2018 17:39:39 GMT
Before she could get into solving the situation Nancy came by and dragged Ryan away and told her to tend to Al's cheek which she really didn't like. Before she could open her mouth to inform the shocked teens about the location of the nearest first aid kit Alexander suddenly jumped up and stormed off. One by one the other girls began to take their leave too. "Hey! You can't just leave!" She objected but they were already gone. She took a deep sigh and groaned.
Fine! If they wanted to skip the club then so be it. She was going to wait until the designated club time was over or until miss Kishi came, which ever came first. She stalked over to her bag and began to go through her homework folder. Done, done, done, done. She listed in her head through the subjects of which she had finished with. Closing the folder she put it away and took out a note pad. If she had time to waste then she would use this time to write. She put the pad on the edge of the stage and stood while she wrote. It was easier to write that way she always thought, like there was nothing blocking her inspiration. She didn't mind the people still in the room, or the people coming and going until she heard a huge roar from Veronica. She looked up startled and hastily put the notepad away. What did miss Kishi get upset about now? She tried quickly to go through the conversations she had zoned out on. Logically it might be about Amanda right?
The roaring fury of Veronica made her way to Nerissa and for a moment she feared a slap was on it's way. But no, she was just handed the scripts. First instinct was to look at the title of the scrip and it was Heathers. Oh damn.... not another musical.... She thought, but it couldn't be helped. As she looked up she saw Veronica stomping off in search of Amanda she supposed. Nerissa did feel bad for Amanda, but she had warned them had she not?
"If anyone wants to text their friends to get back to the auditorium before miss Kishi comes back this would be an appropriate time." She said out loud even though she suspected that they might do that none the less. But it seemed like she just was breaking the ice.

Which Al?
|
Post by Alejandra Ramirez on Jun 29, 2018 18:41:16 GMT
The look on Nerissa's face was both typical and kind of hilarious in a frustrating sort of way. She's such a brown noser. she thought briefly, holding back the urge to roll her eyes again. But she did bring up a good point. With how Miss Kishi normally was, things like asking about a new club during club would bring her ire. Now with the divorce? It was like a million times worse. "You got me there." she admitted, giving a little shrug. Al certainly didn't want to get on the woman's bad side. It was bad enough during rehearsals if stage crew didn't move things around fast enough.
As a paper was getting passed around to sign for joining up, Al politely passed it elsewhere instead of signing. Drama club took up enough of her time. She couldn't really handle anything more if she wanted to make sure she had time to be home and facetime with her family. With her father and two of her brothers all overseas, Dad being stationed on a base during his next tour and her brothers in the middle east, she liked to be able to get as much time as she could with them.
The next thing she knew, Amanda and some others were taking off from the auditorium to who knows well. If Miss Kishi does show, they better hurry back. she thought, looking to where they took off with some worry before turning her attention to the others. It sounded like people were teasing one of the other's, but before she could get a look in to see what, chaos unfolded.
Al jumped as Ryan grabbed hold of other Al, yelling in his face before slugging him and sending him to the floor. "Dios mio!" she exclaimed, trying to figure out what the hell happened. Everyone more or less started to swarm, helping other Al to his feet and scolding Ryan before Nancy went to drag him out. "Hijo de puta." she cursed under her breath, watching Emery take off after Ryan and Nancy before making her own way to the other Al who was making his own way out too.
"Hey Tonto del culo." she said, chocolate eyes checking on the slight swell of his face. "You're supposed to not injure your face." A tiny smirk played at her lips, hoping to help ease the tension that the fight had created. It didn't seem to work though as he quickly left after warning Emery to be careful. With a sigh, she frowned, trying to decide what the best course of action was. Other Al clearly needed space, and she didn't particularly want to follow Emery after Ryan. And most of the other people she was close to seemed to have left the room.
That was when a familiar voice called from the rafters, asking what was going on. Al looked up, smirking at the far away sight of Pidge. "You missed shit hitting the fan!" she yelled up, someone else filling the other girl up with actual details of what went down as Emery came back into the auditorium. WHich was a relief for Al. Unfortunately, that was when Miss Kishi made an appearance, instantly pissed off at the notion that Amanda was making a new club. Shit. she thought, making sure she gave the teacher a wide berth. Her eyes took in the script in the teacher's hand, which was passed to Nerissa, the word Heathers standing out. Under normal circumstances, Al would be kind of excited. She liked the old 80's movie and she loved the musical. And it meant that it wouldn't be too crazy on set changes. Not like say The Little Mermaid (and boy had that show been a pain for Stage Crew).
As the pissed off woman barked out her orders, forbidding anyone form leaving the room, Al found herself not wanting to ensure her wrath. Yeah, I'll stay put. she thought. At Narissa's wise suggestion, the Latina quickly wiped out her phone and created a group text between herself, other Al and Esmeralda.
ALMighty: You guys need to get back asap. Miss Kishi is pissed. Tell everyone you run across on your way back.

When Jamie called her name, Emery looked up and behind her. She was so lost in her thoughts she hadn't realize what Jamie was talking about. So she looked at Jamie with a confused look before gently nodding, showing she really had no idea what Jamie was talking about until she spoke about Ryan being escorted out by Nancy. But then the girl had finished her conversation and she didn't know what to say. Especially since she still had no idea why her name was called other than what she heard after she was called. She bit her bottom lip and went back to studying. Her left hand now rubbing the scar on her right hand. Which was when Zak came up.
Emery looked up again, smiling at Zak while he asked her what he missed. She took in his messy hair and smirked. He was napping again, She thought to herself before rolling to her side, her head resting on her hand, while she bent her knees to be more comfortable on the table. "Not much other than Amanda wanting to start a game club and Alex daring Misha to pull a prank on Ryan. Something that Ryan didn't exactly like and he ended up punching Alex before being excorted off by Nancy and Alex after that. But Alex is fine, I checked up on him, he is going to check on Misha now. But that's All Miss. Kishi─."
Emery was interrupted when Veronica stormed in, yelling and looking rather pissed off. Her eyes widening at the startle she was given. She stayed frozen on table, watching the scene. Okay, she had seen Veronica pissed, but never this pissed. And when she scanned the room as if to see who was still here, she was silently glad she came back. Then she gave Nerissa a new musical and from what she could see, it said "HEATHERS" on it. And she would've been happy about that, if it wasn't for Veronica spouting how no one was allowed to leave the room before walking out. "Shit," She cursed before grabbing her phone to text Naya, Peyton, Ryan, and Alex all the same message.
───
"Guys, Miss. Kishi was just here and she's on a war path. Best to get here, NOW
───
After that she put her phone down and looked back at Zak. "Annnnd with that Miss. Kishi was late until just then, and from the looks of it she may not be happy with someone," She frowned, looking back at the doors before back at him. "So how was your nap? You look like you had a good one," She smiled, pointing at his hairdo. Normally she probably would've scolded him for being late. But since Miss. Kishi and others weren't here and he hadn't missed anything, she wasn't. She wasn't in a scolding mood anyway.

Post by Zak Gully on Jun 29, 2018 19:58:19 GMT
Zak stared at Emery, incredulous. He had expected a mental slap, but she smiled at him and started telling him gossip. Not exactly what he'd meant, but way more interesting than drama club, so he didn't mind. He wasn't very worried about the fight, though. Guys fought all the time, it was up to the women around them to overreact about it. He smiled back at her as he listened, putting his head in his hands and acting like the perfect attentive listener. That was, until Veronica stormed in, and Zak snapped his head around to follow Emery's eyes.
His jaw dropped at the display, and even more so when Emery explained she had only just arrived. He fished up his phone from his pocket and double checked the time. No way. And for once, Zak had been present before the teacher. The thought was weirdly uncomfortable. Now it made sense why Emery wasn't mad at him, at least. At first that made him kind of happy, until he realized he'd have to actually sit through whatever was going to happen now.
Zak didn't pay enough attention to see what play they were doing next, nor would he have even known what Heathers was. It didn't much matter, he wasn't going to sign up for any roles. He'd just sign up for props or something. There were always other people working on that, he could leave all the actual work to them. Emery had been right when she'd suggested the group to him. Zero work, all the extra credit, a perfect fit for Zak.
So how was your nap? You look like you had a good one. "Yeah, 'bout that..." Zak started and grinned sheepishly at Emery before glancing back to Rebecca. She was still sitting alone, he hadn't missed his shot here. "Mind fixing me up a bit?" He stupidly batted his eyes and trying to look like a puppy in need.

Post by Kairi Matsumoto on Jun 29, 2018 22:32:20 GMT
When Kairi finally decided to take notice of the scene around her, her face contorted into a canvas of absolute confusion.
Amanda was apparently recruiting people to join a new club... within an already established club. Kairi glanced over at Jamie, who didn't seem at all interested in joining Amanda's spontaneous form of idiocy, which made Kairi mentally sigh in relief. She had no interest partaking in another damn club, but Kairi had a nagging feeling she'd soon be forced to join this one too.
As if the room hadn't descended into madness enough, the familiar sound of a fist hitting it's target resonated through the auditorium and grabbed Kairi's attention. A chorus of gasps sounded as an audible contrast to Kairi's subtle smirk when she spotted Alexander crumpled on the floor.
About time someone knocked him out, Kairi thought with amusement, she knew that kid would eventually pay for his pranks. Everyone rushed to his aid, even Jamie, but Kairi paid no heed to the injured idiot. Experience is one hell of a teacher, and it was Kairi's fighting experience that told her Alexander would be fine - not mentally, he still had the maturity of a 10-year-old, but physically he would be fine.
Damn if everyday was like this one Kairi might actually show up to drama class with - dare she say - interest.
As the minutes ticked by, the absence of Veronica Kishi seemed to drain everyone's patience. Most of the members just up and left, and God dammit, Kairi seriously wanted to leave too.
VIOLA: that SOB needs to pay for this, you know that right?
Time was such a cunning bastard as it did nothing but mock and terrorize Kairi. She knew all too well how one decision, made on the snap of a finger, could lead to hours upon hours paying the consequences for it. Impulsiveness was no longer an option for Kairi. If she left and Miss Kisihi finally arrived, Kairi had no doubt there would be hell to pay. But the more time she wasted here, the less time she would have to stop Viola from doing something stupid.
Damn, Damn, Damn!
"Are you gonna ditch too?" Jamie piped up again, her voice held a subtle crack of vulnerability. Almost like she dreaded the answer.
With a sigh, Kairi made her decision, "no, I have too much at stake to start ditching, especially when we have no idea where Miss Kishi is."
Kairi took mild pleasure in seeing the girl fail to mask her happiness. Kairi wondered why Jamie didn't leave with the others, poor girl looked so restless and bored. She didn't know what aspect drew Jamie to her, but whatever the reason Kairi was content with Jamie by her side - hell sometimes she even welcomed it.
Kairi didn't know how much time had passed when she heard the unmistakable sound of a storm - a very angry, about-to-tear-down-the-place, storm.
"WHERE IS SHE?!"
Don't make eye contact, Kairi told herself, she might take your soul. Eyes down, just look busy.
"NOBODY can leave this room! That's an order!" And like any destructive storm, she left as abruptly as she stayed.
A little part of Kairi wished she had popcorn for when Hurricane Veronica ultimately came back.

Post by Christopher Kresh on Jun 29, 2018 23:13:05 GMT
Chris had been sitting close to the window as he had zoned out and was lost in his thoughts. He was kind of thinking a lot lately. He was getting older and was already a senior. What would he do after school? What could he do really? Even Though Chris was a bit socially awkward and often on his own, a part of him was scared. Scared to become isolated. To end up on his own and waste his life by being scared. He also knew that he was way too scared to actually do something. Hell he knew all the songs of the previous plays the drama club had done just by listening but NEVER would he sing out loud. He just.. he didn't want to stay the underdog forever..
Then out of nowhere a sudden voice was yelling through the auditorium. Chris jumped as it caused him to almost fall out of the window. He looked up startled. “WHERE IS SHE" Chris was having a freeze reaction as he just stared at what was happening. He blinked hearing nerissa as he quickly got his phone and texted naya, not knowing emery was also texting her
“Hey, kishi just came back and she is NOT happy! She already walked out however so i didn't have time to cover you! Maybe if you get back now you can fake you have been backstage or something! -Chris"
Were there other people he could warn? .. yes! Tara! She would be around amanda and esme too! And talk of the devil. A message from tara popped in
Hey Chris, are you still in the auditorium ? I wanted to tell you that there is a dog in the school. It's probably nothing to worry about, just some lost dog who search his master but be careful we never know :) And if you see the dog can you tell me, please :) ? Thank you, you'll be the best and I hope I didn't bother you ;) P.S : I'm really sorry to not message you more often. I really want to know you better :) After this crazy day maybe x)
He looked at his phone a bit stunned for a moment. That.. was actually a nice idea.. he decided to text her back.
“hey tara! Yes i am! Uhm kishi just came back. She is pissed! I think it would be wise to get back! Also is esme with you? And amanda? I think kishi is looking for her.. she might want to mentally prepare herself.. Also a dog? Thats strange I will keep my eyes open! And that sounds nice, lets talk about it if we survive kishis rage. -Chris”
Never had he typed this fast. God he was terrified of kishi when she was angry. He just hoped the others wouldnt be in too much trouble.

"Mind fixing me up a bit?"
Emery tilted her head, looking him over to see he was needing a little fix up. One, his hair was messy. Two, his tie was incredibly crooked. And three, he needed everything to be straightened out. She also saw that puppy eyed look that he always gave her when he needed her help. The look that always got a laugh out of her. "Well aren't you adorable," She laughed before acting like she was giving it a thought. "To help or not to help? hmm," She wondered, putting her finger to her lips.
She took a moment before sighing, giving a slight chuckle as she got onto her knees. "Let me guess, you got your eyes set on a new one this week?" She asked, working on his tie as it was the most difficult thing to fix out of everything. In fact she had to untie it in order to get it to look presentable. "So who is it this week?" She smirked, moving to his jacket where she pulled on the end of it, straightening it out. She did this for a couple of times before fixing his sleeves. "There we go," She talked to herself before looking at his hair.
She bent over to grab a hairbrush from her purse and went to work on his hair. Brushing it so it would fall better and actually have a shape. He had nice looking medium hair, but when messy he looked like a mess. And after a few more strokes of the brush, he was back to looking cute. "There ya go! Back to your normal self. Though still wondering why you asked for help when you might need to be fixed up again if your flirting works with the new victim," She winked, putting her brush up so she could lay on her side again.

Let's raise hell

Post by Peyton Cross on Jun 30, 2018 8:08:21 GMT
Peyton walked out of the bathroom and pressed herself against the closed door.
Ugh, I’m a mess today
Back in reality once more, she felt a vibration go off in her pocket. She dug out her phone, to see the screen light up with a notification, or rather a text message.
EMERY A: Guys, Miss. Kishi was just here and she’s on a war path. Best to get here, NOW
“SHIT!” Peyton cried out. She ran down the hall, passing by Misha and Alex on her way, not even giving them a second glance and not realizing they were even there. She burst right through the doors, creating a loud BOOM that echoed throughout the entire auditorium, as her feet slid against the hardwood floors. She looks around and sees Emery with some other guy who she didn’t know. Peyton raced up to her.
“Well? Where is she?!” Peyton asked with agitation.
