"Fuck, fuck, fuck. FUCK!"
Amanda ran up the stairs, almost falling a few times. How could she just forget about time and lose herself in playing "Stardew Valley"! She just wanted to check on the crops while she's on her lunch break and then GO! Alas! "Holy shit," she swore again, her body trembling from fear and her heart racing. And that stupid package her mom gave her didn't help at all! It was SO heavy! "Alright, Manda, almost there," she cheered herself up and without a hesitation, the girl rushed through the hall and entered the auditorium. "Miss K- Kishi?" she stuttered, looking around, ready to be scolded, but no. Veronica wasn't here! "That's odd," she thought and processed to walk to the back of the auditorium to the costumes room. Veronica was FABULOUSLY late. Actually, she's never been THAT late before. What's the matter with her? Lost in her thoughts, she didn't notice how she accidentally bumped hard into Alexander's back making her fall on the floor. The package she held in her right hand flew away, making all of the games flew in different directions. "I- I'm so, so sorry," Amanda helped herself to stand up, blushing and took a look at the mess behind her. Cards from "Werewolf" and "Cards Against Humanity", dices and chips from the "Eight-Minute Empire", chess figurines - everything was mixed up together and looked like A DISASTER! "I- I- eh," stuttering, even more, she turned around and kneeled on the ground, trying to put all the cards together back in their boxes and tiny bags.
Great. Just great.
TASK: Everybody who's been a part of the drama club are already hanging in the auditorium for a solid half-an-hour. They can react to the "collision", keep doing what they did or just leave the auditorium. Up to you! Haaaaave fun! ;D WEATHER AND TIME IN THE GAME:17:45. The weather is cold and it's raining like somebody turned over a bucket full of ice cold water. DATE IN THE GAME:
September 16 POST ORDER: There is none post order, BUT wait for at least two new posts to appear, before posting again.

Tara was waiting, Miss Kishi's arrival with the others members of the drama club. She discussed with them, commenting, and theorizing about this evenment. It was really odd. Since she was here, she couldn't remember a time when their professor was this late.
Like for a lot of things she had mixed feelings about this. She felt relieved because, the atmosphere was tense since Miss Kishi's divorce, but she really felt annoyed and frustrated because acting is her only relief from her mind.
She tried to ignore her difficult feelings and focused on the chatting in the auditorium.
Until the door opens and a familiar read head appeared into the auditorium "Miss K-Kishi ?"
The terrified face of Amanda, transformed into relief and confusion, as she didn't hear reprimands for being late. Tara couldn't stop herself to find it oddly cute and chuckled to herself.
But Amanda wasn't looking and a loud sond was heard, and Amanda was on the floor, all her belongings scattered. She seemed to have bumped into Al.
Without really thinking, she run to the girl.
"Hey Amanda, are you okay ? she said genuinely worried, helping the girl to be on her feet, "I will help you to pick up your things"
She smiled to the read head. She pick up a box with written werewolf on here. Happy memories came into her mind.
"Oh I love this game, I play it a lot with my parents and others family member. She said giving an other genuine smile for once, to the girl.

Post by Emery Attiyah on Jun 25, 2018 15:58:14 GMT
Emery had been by Alex, Al, Peyton, and Naya in the club room. Just chatting and having fun. Like usual she was picking on her brother while he picked on her. Having a good ole time while they waited for Veronica. Though she was starting to wonder where Miss Kishi was, she was late, very late, something that was unusual for her. It got to the point where Emery kept watching the clock a little too much, wondering if something bad had happened to their beloved teacher. "Is it just me or is Miss. Kishi really late?" She suddenly asked through their fun.
Everything seemed off with Miss. Kishi lately. Ever since the divorce she had been stricter than usual, and hated when people were late. So it seemed off that she herself was late. She wondered if she was just stress with the divorce, but she didn't want to pry, finding it rude when it wasn't exactly any of her business. Especially since Miss. Kishi didn't really yell at her like she did the others. Which made her even more confused about everything.
But before she could really get an answer from anyone, Amanda came running in, catching her attention. The poor girl seemed lost in her thoughts, and seemed to look just as confused as she was about their teacher not in the room yet. So lost that she wasn't exactly paying attention to what she was doing before she bumped straight into Al. Forcing him to stumble forward and bump into her. "Oh god," She gasped, grabbing Al to steady him before he would send both of them stumbling to the ground. And considering how she was 4'10" (147.32~ cm) and he was 5'8" ( 172.7~ cm), she really didn't need him crushing her right now. So she put all her strength at keeping her older brother up before a disaster would happen.
"You okay?" Emery asked him before she looked at Amanda who seemed to be an absolute mess now. Scrambling trying to pick up everything that she dropped. "Hey, hey," She said gently to Amanda while going down on her knees to help her. "Are you okay, Amanda?" She asked, concerned for the girl as it looked like she was shaking like a little leaf. "Hey, it's okay, it's okay. It was an accident," She told the girl, hoping that it would ease what little worry she had while she helped put things in order for her.
That was when she noticed Cards Against Humanity, "Oh! I love this game, very good pick!" Emery said, giving her a soft smile.

Post by Nerissa Clark on Jun 25, 2018 16:10:21 GMT
Nerissa had come in early and organized everything so Veronica could start the club activity with ease and not having to complain for the first five minutes about her papers not being in order.
As people began arriving she settled down to wait. About five minutes after they were supposed to start she began to feel anxious. At ten minutes she stood up and clapped her hands to get peoples attention. "Okay since miss Kishi is running late I say we start with the warm ups already so we won't be wasting time." She suggested looking around if the proposition gained any popularity or not. Well whomever wanted to join they could, if not they could just sit there and play with their phones or something.
"Let's start with voice warm ups." She suggested and began leading the usual litany of phrases and tongue twisters for them to follow.
She kept looking at the clock, and still the teacher was nowhere to be seen around the half hour mark. She even had time to move on to the stretches and after that she was starting to get really annoyed at their teacher. Just about when they were finishing the exercises she heard the door open and turned her head to look. Only to see Amanda stumble in and bump right into Alexander. Oh great! All the things she was carrying went crashing to the floor. She sighed and turned her attention back to the few that were doing the exercises with her and told them that they were finished. Once again she glanced at her clock. She really was getting annoyed at Veronica's tardiness.
A couple of the girls had gone to Amanda to fawn over whatever she had dropped.
She moved over to Amanda to see what she had over there to cause such a commotion. "You brought games to the drama club?" She asked with a raised eyebrow and folding her arms over her chest. Maybe she looked a little judging.

Post by Peyton Cross on Jun 25, 2018 16:20:39 GMT
Peyton sat on the edge of a stage, reading a classic novel that she checked out of the library earlier that day. She sat by her close (and only) friend, Emery, who was currently in a teasing scuffle with her brother. She never really got to know Alex, or even Emery’s two other friends that were beside them, but she decided to stick around. Emery was the only person to ever make her happy.
As Peyton was deep in her book, she heard Emery pipe up, “Is it just me, or is Miss Kishi really late?”
Peyton lifted her head up about to answer, but the moment she did, Amanda Backer came crashing into Alex, and everything she was holding went flying. The entire area was a complete mess and poor Amanda started stuttering on her words. She noticed Emery helping Amanda out with her stuff.
“Oh! I love this game, very good pick!” Emery said with enthusiasm. Peyton hopped down to see what her friend was so excited about. She looked at the box, which said “Cards Against Humanity" on the cover.
“Cards Against Humanity? Like…the game that ever dirty person plays and adults scoff at?” she asked with sarcasm in her voice.

Post by Naya Zafar on Jun 25, 2018 16:32:31 GMT
One minute Naya was laughing at Emery teasing Al, the next the floor was covered in cards and game pieces, Em was nearly crushed by Al, and Amanda was kneeling down, frantically trying to pick up all the pieces that had fallen out of her package.
"Oh my god!" Naya gasped, "Are you okay?" She bent down next to Amanda, grabbing a few cards and helping her put them away. It seemed some others had had the same idea as she had too, as they rushed over to help.
"Oh! I love this game, very good pick!" Emery said, and Naya nodded in agreement.
"Yeah, it's one of my favourites!" she grinned, trying to reassure Amanda.
Peyton seemed less impressed, “Cards Against Humanity? Like…the game that every dirty person plays and adults scoff at?” Naya frowned at this. She didn't really know Peyton, she was more Emery's friend after all, but she always tried to make an effort and say hi. She wasn't sure if Peyton appreciated it, but she didn't really seem to care for anyone but Emery anyway, so Naya reasoned it wasn't that bad. Before she could say anything back, however, she heard a voice from behind her.
"You brought games to the drama club?" She looked up to see Nerissa standing over them, clearly annoyed that her impromptu vocal warmup had been interrupted.
"Well, I think it's a great idea," Naya replied, "Who doesn't enjoy Uno?"

Elizabeth was mostly looking through her phone, deciding that this was the only way to occupy time; they had to wait for Ms. Kishi. Let’s just say their relationship was rough at best and downright chaotic at worse. She built up an almost apathetic view of her drama instructor, the headmistress was strict and that she didn’t quite mind but she always dwelled on the prospect that maybe they could have a secondary instructor so that it could balance Ms. Kishi’s temper tantrums and unfair treatment. A girl can dream. Frowning she looked through her phone. She later heard Nerissa talking about Miss. Kishi being late and her just sticking to the regular routine which were tongue twisters and other basic routines. Which just made her say, “Be right there!”
she looked up, noticing Amanda say “Miss K-Kishi?” Hmm, she looked up and saw her with games in her hands. Maybe to pass time? Or was it for the whole class and Miss. Kishi? What a sight that would be. Miss Kishi playing a game that wasn’t a game of cat and mouse chasing with all of them. She looked over at her slipping. Her eyes immediately wide eye, well, to be fair Amanda was a bit on the nervous side and lost her balance. Not like I’ve been better. She chuckled softly. Walking up to her and helping her sort out the deck. “Alright, here and here.” She said, collecting the remaining cards.
With that in mind, she just fixed a deck. She looked up at Emery helping Amanda in the more or less emotionally helpful flay, which was pretty sweet of her. But any decent person would help. “Alright.” She said looking down and giving Emery a little smile as she looked over at Amanda, “Uh, Amanda. Which game do you wanna play first?” She’s bought the games so it was only fair she got to have first dibs.

"Th- Thank you, girls, you don't h- have to! Really!" Amanda smiled awkwardly while the girls helped her to pick everything up. Tara, Emery and Elisabeth - all of them were so sweet and nice and even if they didn't want to - they made this situation even more awkward and accidentally brought even more attention to her persona. And, of course, such a mess couldn't pass without a notice from the club's vice-president! "You brought games to the drama club?" Narissa said, making the redhead jump to her feet, her cheeks flushing red from embarrassment. What should she say? "My mom made me bring this to the club meeting, so I can make new friends, a ha ha ha! ... FUCK! I CAN'T say that in front of everybody! This is SO lame," a thought flashed through her mind, while Nerissa was probably getting even more annoyed by all of this. "I- eh, I-" she hesitated than rose her eyes, to meet Narissa's. "I wanted to ask people tooo-o... join MY new club!" That sounds plausible, right? "After the club meeting I- I wanted to suggest you guys to play, eeeh...""Cards Against Humanity?" she heard Peyton's sarcastic tone. "Cards Against Humanity!!!" she repeated the words as fast as a machine gun.
"Well, I think it's a great idea," she heard another, this time Naya lovely voice, "Who doesn't enjoy Uno?" "Y-yeah," she agreed. If only she knew how to play uno, she could sound a BIT more confident.
"Uh, Amanda. Which game do you wanna play first?”she heard Beth's suggestion. "ANY! HAHA! So yeah... Right! Don't worry, Narissa, I didn't come to sabotage the club meeting or anything, ha ha," she let out the awkward laughter and put a fake smile on her face. This is bad.

Post by Ryan Hepburn on Jun 25, 2018 16:51:22 GMT
Ryan's hand sat idly with the paintbrush- zero interest in his current activity. His mind elsewhere. Yeah , excuse him for not finding painting fake trees a huge excitement. A loud exaggerated sigh left his lips, lazily flopping the handle up and down the paper mache bark. ' This is going to be a long day...."-- After being scolded for missing too many club meetings, Miss Kishi had warned him about being booted out after one more ditch. So, goodbye baseball practice today- and hello god please help me I'm fucking bored. His eyes trailed from the bristles and to the other set of hands working on the fake shrubbery. Those hands belonging to Tristan. His face seemingly flustered as he attempted to keep his head down and eyes on his brushstroke. But to be fair, he's always been pretty dedicated to his work...he admires him for that...maybe a little too much. -- However, as soon as Ryan had caught himself staring at the boy's face a few seconds too long, Tristan looked up; locking eyes immediately. Heat was felt coming quickly to his face, his cheeks gaining color. A grimace was found stretched across his face as he opened his mouth to stammer out a stupid joke to maybe ease the tension about being caught red handed- er red faced rather.. when thankfully a distraction! -- Both boys' heads had swung over at the commotion of Amanda's collision. He couldn't help but snort, cupping his hands around his mouth before calling over " Hey Amanda ! Walk much?! " He laughed at his own terrible joke before pushing Tristan's shoulder, as if to nudge him into laughing with him.

Post by Jamie Lewis on Jun 25, 2018 16:56:02 GMT
Jamie came into the auditorium with water dripping from almost every inch of her body. Her hair was sloppy, her clothes were wet, it was an interesting sight for sure. As she was walking she's left the trace of a puddle behind her. The girl was not in a good mood. She went backstage to change, where she bumped into Kairi.”Ugh.. can you believe this weather? Wait… how are you dry!?” she said to her irritatedly.
After she changed to dry clothes she continued her conversation with Kairi, which mainly consisted of Jamie talking and Kairi listening patiently. “I mean can you believe it? My shoes are completely ruined, not to mention I might even catch a cold” she puffed. Their chat continued like this for a long time and Jamie didn’t notice how late their teacher was.
“Anyways…”said Jamie after she had nothing else to talk about “how are you?” she knew Kairi didn’t like small talk but Jamie was the on talking this whole time and she wanted to give her friend a chance to express what was on her mind if she wanted to. However before the girl could answer someone burst through the door. It was Amanda. Jamie tried to talk to her once but it didn’t really go well. Her instinct was to go help, but since a lot of girl already went there she just decided to observe from afar.
"I wanted to ask people tooo-o... join MY new club!” Jamie never really played board games, wasn’t a huge fan of them either, so this idea seemed interesting, to say the least. She exchanged meaningful looks with Kairi then after Amanda stopped rambling Jamie spoke up.
“Guys are we gonna start or what… where’s Miss Kishi anyway?”

“Cards Against Humanity!” Amanda said in response to her comment.
Peyton jumped back in surprise, as Amanda was clearly nervous but definitely excitable. Apparently she seemed interested in starting some sort of gaming club. Peyton never did find interest in games…or rather she never had anyone to play with. It’s probably why she acted above them all the time. Besides, she never had the time or money for games. She was always too busy, and it’s not like she wants to overwork herself. Yet, a part of Peyton thought that this could be fun. She had recently started to consider trying to get to know her fellow club mates. Maybe she had been judging them too much as of late.
“So…what exactly did you have in mind for this new club anyways?” Peyton asked with curiosity.

"Well, I think it's a great idea," Naya spoke to her, and Nerissa shot a sharp look at the girl. Maybe a little sharper than she had intended. "Who doesn't enjoy Uno?" "That is not the point. This is time designated for the drama club activities. Or it should be if our president would just show up to lead us." She didn't care if people heard the annoyed edge in her voice. "Put those away please, you all can go play those games after the club time is over." She said looking at Amanda first and then forcing a gentle smile on her face as she looked at the others. See, she could ask nicely too. When Amanda began stammering something about starting a new club her eyebrows shot up. "You can't just up and start a club like that. You need to ask the school first." Rules were rules, why was it so hard for people to follow them. At any rate she felt like her objections were going unheard. This was anarchy!!
"Amanda you really should put those away. If miss Kishi sees you with them you are going to get in trouble." It was a slight suggestion that she was not going to step in to defend her this time if miss Kishi got angry at Amanda.

Miss Kishi had been absolutely adamant everyone in the drama club sart attending. Yikes. Who knew so many people were going to be ditching and making the place so...tense? Esme had been minding her own business, not wanting to engage with anyone for a while. But her ears perked up when she heard the three magic words. Cards Against Humanity. She immediately turned her attention over to them. Peyton looked completely uninterested. Naya suggested Uno. The cute little redhead, Amanda, was laughing like a hyena. Esme knew that smile and laugh anywhere. It was someone who was confused and afraid. She pursed her lips and gave a gentle laugh. She was dying inside when she let it out, too. Here she was saying how much she hated fakers and yet to protect a poor girl, she had to put on an act herself,
"Cards Against Humanity can get pretty crowded, Amanda," she advised, "I have to agree with Naya. Something smaller like Uno would be easier." Nerissa asked everyone to put the games away, and she adjusted her smile, "After the meeting of course."

Post by Thalia Turner on Jun 25, 2018 17:08:53 GMT
‘There was music from my neighbor's house through the summer nights. In his blue gardens men and girls came and went like moths among the whisperings and he champagne and the stars.’
The novel clutched in Thalia’s flingers held her captive from the world; as though nothing else mattered. Though cliché, her reading of The Great Gatsby sent thrills of inexplicable joy through her soul, though it was not reflected in her stone-cold expression, and whose eyes which occasionally flickered up to see if Veronica would decide to grace them with their presence. If she hadn’t been so enraptured by the novel she would have sidled off home ten minutes previously, despite the knowledge it would displease her teacher rather profusely. Thalia really didn’t care. She sighed and allowed her smooth gaze to raise above the pages, witnessing Nerissa’s attempt to ‘rope in the masses’ and create some form of clarity and order. A look of expectance was given in her direction by others, though she acted utterly naïve to their efforts and immediately resumed reading.
That was, until Amanda stumbled through the door with a false sense of alarm.
Thalia jumped in surprise as she came crashing past her, knocking herself to the floor. The girl regarded her for a split moment, contemplating helping before the kindest among them decided to intervene. That suited her nicely, and she shuffled back to press herself against the wall, not wishing to look like she was involved. Games? She noted a card from one of the many strewn objects fluttered innocently in front of her. One of her thick eyebrows were quirked as she gazed back up at the redhead, regarding her steadily.
“Interesting development,” she murmured to herself, tucking the novel away in the leather back on her back. Once the others began conversing she couldn’t help herself but listen in; curious to see if the utterly wild events were to develop further. Thalia was as indiscreet as they came but she had no shame in herself, thus didn’t bother but hide her obvious staring.

Tara stood awkwardly next to Amanda, the werewolf gameboard always in her hands, during Nerissa's scolding and felt bad for the read head, who seemed to want to be anywhere but here. She knew the feeling well.
After that Nerissa made understand well, that the boardgames need to be put away during club time, and that Amanda needed a teacher's authorization, to do open her club, Tara approached the girl to give her, her boardgame.
"Hey Amanda" she dared to say finally, not very loud not wanting to annoy Nerissa more"If you do the club I'm Totally in. I love boardgames and it's an eternity since I played one", she smiled gently to her and get back to her place.
