You wake up untied, surrounded by darkness. You know that you are a part of The Game. The Game created for amusement only. And now you are "free". So your fate is in your hands, right?
Wrong. I know you all would like to throw the rules out of the window or some of you would even like to "take the blue pill" - so the story would have ended, you woke up in your bed and believed whatever you want to believe. But, no. You didn't have a choice as Neo did. Amanda's decided everything for you. She "thinks" you deserve to be free. Naive little gal.
Alright, enough of this rumbling. You know, this is our last "event" together, so let's spend this time wisely. I postponed the inevitable for far too long. Let the game begin!
TASK:
- find an exit out of the labyrinth
PARTICIPANTS:
- Team "Green" [hosted by Niina]: Andrei [NPC], Peyton (Bishop), Misha (Rook), Rox (Pawn), Naomi (Pawn), Tristan (Pawn)
POSTS ORDER:
- no post order in-between players BUT! After each player's post, you should wait till admin/mod will leave a short post describing your progression.
Example of the wrong post order:
Phillip - Admin - Phillip - Phillip
Example of the right post order:
Tara - Admin - Phillip - Admin - Tara - Admin - Tara
The NPC can be mentioned in your posts, but they won't be roleplayed that much and just move along with the group. They are hurt mentally and physically and look like walking corpses [Especially Madonna with her guts all over the floor]. NPCs can't get attacked/letf behind.
RULES:
Depending on your role (they are stated in brackets near your character's name) you may have a special move up the sleeve! Besides the "main options" you can use your "special move" once per three posts.
[!] Always state in OCC by the end of your posts your action out of "main moves" list.

SPECIAL ROLES/MOVES:
- KING - additional health (+5 to both stats)

Now let's talk about both "main" and "special" options in details.
MAIN OPTIONS:
- MOVE - is a simple option where your group moves one tile forward. Each tile can contain an enemy or an item but it can also be an empty one.
- HEAL - you can use a healing item from your inventory to regain some sanity/health. You can use an item both on your character or help another character out! You don't need to give away an item to heal another character.
Also, you don't have to do a perception check to find an item anymore! If you step on a tile with an item hidden there - u will automatically get it.
[!] If it so happens that the team met up with an "unfriendly-NPC" - you can't move any forward and you switch *pokemon theme plays* into the "BATTLE MODE"! In the "battle mode" enemies attack after each post no matter what option you pick and will keep doing it until they are defeated (Each enemy has 5 HP points).
There is a 70% chance that the enemy will pick the least active character in the group as their target for the next hit and a 30% chance that they will hit the character who picked the last "attack" option. Characters are allowed to heal themselves/others during the battle.
So now besides "heal" - your new main options are:
- ATTACK - a character with a weapon has a 100% chance of a hit, while a character without a weapon (he can use rocks/sticks/their fists/'sharp' words to attack) has a 50/50 chance of success. BUT [!] a character who attacked with a weapon gets -1 sanity point and if they attack without a weapon - so the attack wasn't performed with a lethal weapon - the character doesn't get a -1 sanity point.
- DEFEND - another option that can be picked during a fight with an NPC enemy. Players can defend themselves or another player, preventing to get damaged.
SPECIAL OPTIONS:
If you see a chess figurine name beside your name on the participants' list - that means that your character has a special "role". Depending on your role you can add a special option every three posts (per thread* not per single player's posts). So your posts will look like this:
[OCC: Amanda picked to attack. Special option: defend Tara.]
- KING - you have main options available only but from the beginning of the event, your character gets a health and a sanity boost - +5 points to each stat.
- QUEEN - you can move two tiles forward OR make an additional attack during the battle mode. When you pass two tiles at once - you won't be able to see what you've skipped in the tile in the middle - it might have been an empty tile, an item or an enemy. The only way to find out (if you want) - to take one step back.
- BISHOP - same as the queen bishops can skip two tiles ahead and get to the goal faster, but, again, you won't be able to see the tile that you "jump over" - if it was an empty tile or there was an item or an enemy.
- ROOK - during the "battle mode" rooks can make an additional attack or defend themselves.
- KNIGHT - during the "battle mode" besides the main options knights can also defend themselves or another player.
All special options no matter if they are performed during regular or battle mode - guarantee a 100% chance of success.
Also, just in case, here is a short bullet-point summary of the "special roles":
- Only Bishops and the Queen can jump two tiles ahead.
- Only Rooks and the Queen can perform two attacks (One "main" and one "special") per one post.
- Only Rooks and Knights can defend themselves and another player in one post. (By picking "defend" both as their main and special options).
- Only Knights can defend two separate players at once. (Again one is a "main" option and one is a "special" one)
- Only Rooks and the Queen can perform two attacks (One "main" and one "special") per one post.

Darkness all around. The air feels heavy. Ancient stone walls are covered in mold.
A musty old smell hit your nostrils when you found yourself laying down in the middle of a dusty old corridor in the middle of an ancient temple. Old as this world brick walls were covered in mold and moss On the bright side though the whole team is rocking their new Indiana Jones or Lara Croft inspired looks! At least that's something, right?!

*the word "thread" was used to describe all participants of the event - admin's first post, the mod's and the player's posts, so if one member of the group used their special move, everyone has to wait for three posts [for example: Player #1 (used Special Move) - Mod's post - Player #2 (can't use Special Move) - Mod's post - Player #1 or Player #2 (can use Special Move again)] for a special move to be used again.
** Peyton's weapon is the only weapon in the game that gives -2HP damage instead of -1HP.
