A groan left the lips of the small girl, her hand going to her forehead while she rolled over onto her back. Her eyes shut tight. The headache she was feeling was almost overwhelming. Fuck, She cursed inside of her head, she laid still on the ground, not really noticing she wasn't on a bed until she took notice of how she felt extremely cold. And not only cold, but wet? Eyes slowly opened, fearing that she would have to look at light that would hurt her head even further. But instead of a very well lit room, she was met with darkness. She blinked, taken aback with how dark it was. "What in the," She pushed herself into a sitting position, her body aching while she did.
Once sat up she looked around the very best she could. She sat there, blinking before she finally took out her phone and used its flashlight. There she found out she looked to be in some sort of cafeteria that would be in a high school. What was she doing in a school? Why was she even a school? Wait, She paused, wasn't this the cafeteria Maverick High had? What the hell was she doing here? How did she get here? The girl tried to remember, but she couldn't, and the more she tried to remember─ the worser her headache got. Why couldn't she remember?
Alessia looked at her phone, noticing the time and day on it. It was apparently June 11th and the time was 8:51pm. For some reason that didn't sound right, but she couldn't really remember or explain why that was. Great, she was getting more and more confused by the second. So before she could make her headache even worse, she forced herself onto her feet. Her body immediately telling her to lay the fuck back down. she continued to look around the room, seeing if she could find anything that maybe could explain why she was here. But the more she looked at it, the more she started to recongize how badly damaged the room was. "What the hell happened here?" She muttered to herself.
While scanning, her light landed on a tanned boy with black hair. Was he dead? He moved just a little to tell her that he wasn't. She took a step forward, wanting to take a better look at him. Keeping the light from directly facing his face, not wanting to blind the poor boy if he suddenly woke up. But when she got close she noticed the burns around his eyes. Burns that seemed to be caused by a chemical... Who did he piss off to get that? She then heard another sound, making her turn around to now see there was another guy. This one was blonde, and just like the one she was next to, had their uniforms as well. Except the uniforms weren't as clean and nice like they should've been. no, they looked distressed and worn out, and was that dried blood she saw on them? More and more questions started to fill her head. The most important one was; How the fuck did she get here?
Her attention went back to the male who had the burns. She gently shook him, wanting to wake him up to make sure he was okay before she went to the blonde. After all, this one looked to be in need of help than the other. "Hey, hey you, wake up."

A ringing headache. Rain. An aching body. And a relieving--but also regretful--lack of a way too familiar stench. They were things that all gradually came to the ravenhaired as he groaned, waking back up from his unconscious state. He was glad he wasn't in the same torture room as he was before. But he also knew what that meant, and his stomach filled with dread.
He had moved again. And knowing the odds of still being in the same area as those he was with before, he was sure Emery was no longer with him. Nor Chris nor Max nor Becca either... And that Misha was probably separated even farther away from him now, where he could no longer hear her voice. And the crushing reality of losing his friends again made his nerves increase.
Shit, he muttered inwardly as he narrowed his eyes, the worry he felt clear on his face. Not now!... He didn't want to be alone again... He didn't want to be away from everyone again. But definitely not Em and Misha. Dammit!
Remaining still and quiet on the floor, Alex could feel his whole body aching like a truck had hit him, his head pounding. It was most likely from his pathetic efforts trying to navigate the halls when he had rushed to get Emery and then carried her back again. But what hit him the most, causing his stomach to tie up in knots, was an ominously heavy and almost empty sensation that seemed to fill from his heart and extend through his entire body. He had never felt anything like this before...
Something's really wrong, he whispered silently to himself, feeling cold shivers race up his spine. It was like his entire body felt stiff, and his blood had all ran cold. And as he shivered slightly, he gradually began to hear the sound of movement and footsteps echoing quietly in the room not far from where he was... and moving closer.
Instinctively, Alex's muscles tensed and prepared to back away as fast as he could. Whatever he was feeling and the atmosphere in the room--not to mention his experiences so far--definitely wasn't going to risk him being attacked again by the bastard intent on killing and torturing them for fun. Or worse yet, one of his own classmates... Yet he was halted in his steps as he heard a female voice reach his ears, followed by an annoying, pointed object poking him in the shoulder.
"Wake up," the female said gently, shaking him further.
Immediately, the ravenhaired sat up and began backing up a few feet away from the person talking, not fully caring for the comforting tone and gesture. "Alessia?" he muttered under his breath, the shock clear in his voice and his face. His mind was racing a mile a minute, complete confusion washing over him. Why the hell would she be here? Am I going crazy now?
His brother's best friend couldn't possibly be anywhere near the school; she had graduated just this summer, and no sane person would take a day trip to their old high school on a Sunday. Especially someone like her who was more than happy to graduate early and get out as fast as she could... And there wasn't any way to get into this hellish prison either, far as he knew anyway. So why was he hearing her voice and feeling her poking his shoulder right now?
Biting the inside his lip as he continued to sit warily on the floor, Alex honestly felt an extreme amount of confusion and concern at this new development. The only thing he could think of was that he was being tricked again or she really was here for some completely unknown reason, both possibilities he hated to think about... But that was her voice - it had to be! he concluded silently to himself, being completely sure of that fact. He hadn't been as close to her as Daniel was (though honestly, who was as close as those two were?), but he knew what he was hearing.
In his mind, he remembered how he had heard Miss Kishi's voice when he had put on that amulet, and he almost wondered if the same case was happening now... But he wasn't wearing it. He could feel where it was in his pants pocket, and on top of that, it wasn't disembodied as someone with an actual body was there in the room with him. Which left the only other explanation that it had to be her... which wasn't any bit more relieving for the ravenhaired either.
Shit, he whispered inwardly to himself as his mouth ran dry. It was another person trapped down here... another name of his family to add to the list of those the ravenhaired might lose... It all made him frown with regret, the already prominent feeling of emptiness and dread increasing as it continued coursing through his body.
"How did you get here?" Alex asked her in a concerned yet gentle tone, wishing he could see with his own eyes to fully confirm whether or not it was her. "I mean, not that I'm not glad to hear from you, but seriously. What the hell are you doing here? Did you find a way in here or something?" He waited for her to respond, all while he continued to fight back against the shivers that raced through his aching and starving body. The dark atmosphere of the room and the cold temperature due to the lack of heat was definitely not a big help, only adding to his already heightened nerves.

The boy had woken up quickly, backing away from her the moment he sat up. Her eyes narrowed, taking in his expression. He was on edge, he was scared. Just like she thought, something had happened to him; something bad. But that expression changed into one of confusion, as if he was wondering if he had really heard that she was talking. Her right eyebrow raised, watching how it seemed like he was thinking. It kept changing to sad, to anger, and then back to confusion. He was trying to make sense of something. But what?"
"Alessia?"
Eyes softened, and now she was the one looking confused. How did he know her name? She had never met this boy before. So how could he know it? She opened her mouth to speak, but was interrupted with his own questions.
"How did you get here? I mean, not that I'm not glad to hear from you, but seriously. What the hell are you doing here? Did you find a way in here or something?"
"Whoa, whoa," Alessia put her hands out, feeling a bit too bombarded from the sudden talking and questions. The person that was suppose to be doing all of that was her. How the hell did he know her name? Did she know him? No, I would remember him.. But he seemed so sure he knew her, and he knew her name. So did she know him? No, she couldn't remember if she knew him. So it was obvious right? She didn't know him. But again, how does he know my name?
"First off, simmer down a little. Second off, how do you know my name? Why are you acting like we know each other? I don't mean to be rude, but I honestly don't know who you are..." She said, taking another look at the poor boy. Damn he looks tired, if he didn't know my name I would just say he was acting like this cause of exhaustion. But it's just not the case.. The only severe wound she saw on him was the burns. And that wasn't exactly something that could made someone lose their memory. But then she noticed the gash on his forehead, and his bruised nose that was hidden because of the burns. Okay so maybe he has a concussion. But that still doesn't explain how he knows my freakin' name! She honestly couldn't get her head wrapped around this. Her headache was getting worse. Fuck...
"And third, I don't know how I got here. I just woke up, do you know why I'm here? Is that why you know my name?" She tilted her head at him, her dreads following her movements. She waited for his answer, but already she could feel a change in the atmosphere as he looked at her with an hurt and confused expression. "What?" She asked, taken aback by the sudden change.

He moved his body back and forth, rolling around the room as he heard this play in his head. It was that and Amanda, because out of all people who had to start this mess had to be Amanda, of course. Just Amanda. And Emery, she died. She died. He couldn’t believe it, Emery; that girl who he had a crush on, the one that would help others, that one who had to go through this shit-hole and than she had to die.
He frowned, not able to hear much from the conversation occurring and miniature segments and suddenly gasped, his body pushing itself up as her curled his body together. Fucking hell! He tried sitting up and than standing before falling back on the floor and growling. There was Alexander but he hard marks over him and his eyes, than he looked up, seeing Alessia? When did she go here?
“Wh- what’s going on..?”

Immediately following his questions, Alessia--who he was sure had to be her now--stopped him with her own words, cutting off any further questions. And irritably, any answers. "First off," she listed, her voice sounding like a mixture of confusion and annoyance, "simmer down a little. Second off, h4ow do you know my name? Why are you acting like we know each other? I don't mean to be rude, but I honestly don't know who you are..."
"I honestly don't know who you are..."
For a second, Alex merely sat in silence, his mind processing her words. But soon enough, a laugh escaped his lips and he shook his head, not entirely amused with her joke. "Ha! Good one, Al," Alex answered with a smirk, her words echoing over and over in his mind as he let out another pointedly unamused laugh. This had to be one of her pranks again... "This is for me wrapping your car's tires in bubble wrap isn't it? Fine fine, you win then! But seriously, how did you get here?" Now wasn't the time for her to play dumb with him - of course she knew him! He had known her since he was ten or eleven years old.
Except instead of answering or laughing along, Alessia remained quiet, causing the ravenhaired's laughter to die down as well and settle into an even deeper expression of confusion. What the hell is up with her? he wondered silently to himself, his face scrunching up a little in thought. Though it didn't take her too long to speak, her tone sounding even more annoyed and confused than before.
"Third," she pointedly stated, picking up on her list again, "I don't know how I got here. I just woke up, do you know why I'm here? Is that why you know my name?"
Alex was stunned into silence, merely staring unseeingly off in the direction of where she was while she spoke. Inside his mind was a mess of growing confusion, his wide eyes displaying his bewilderment. Is she seriously for real? he muttered inwardly as a chill crept over him. Alessia hadn't been a part of the drama club; acting wasn't her thing. She was too straightforward and real with people to be, and right now as she finished asking him questions, she honestly sounded completely perplexed and... serious. Like she honest-to-God didn't know why she was there or...
Or who I am, he finished with an inner whisper as a pained expression crossed his face, the harsh reality causing his mouth to run dry. And immediately, he bit his lip, one of his hands gripping his other arm in a hesitant manner. Did she hit her head or something? How could she not remember me?!
Continuing to sit in silence, it seemed that Alessia sensed his change in mood as she spoke again, causing his concerned frown to deepen. "What?" she asked simply, the confusion clear in her voice.
At her question, the ravenhaired's lips slowly parted as if to speak only for no words to come out. For as much as he pondered over what to say, he honestly wasn't even sure what he could say. He had lost friends, but he hadn't ever experienced someone he was close to completely forgetting who he was... Even more by someone he practically considered as an older sister. And while it wasn't quite as permanent or intense in feeling as hearing about Jamie had been, he couldn't deny the way his heart felt as Alessia's words struck home, like a dagger in his chest.
So... if she doesn't remember me, he thought slowly, mulling over the possibility as he sat there on the floor with his eyes staring blankly in the direction of his brother's best friend's voice, does she not remember Daniel?
Yet he couldn't ask her as a second voice reached his ears, one he also hadn't heard the entire time he had been trapped here but knew well enough to pinpoint it. "Cameron, that you? You okay?" Alex asked, naming his blond friend before he took a much needed breath, trying to shake off the nerves gripping him before answering the other male's question. "I'm...I'm not sure. But-" he paused and turned his head back towards where he supposed Alessia still was, his brows creasing as he directed his next two questions at her. "You seriously don't remember me?" he asked, waiting a breath before imploring further. "...What about Daniel?"

"Ha! Good one, Al. This is for me wrapping your car's tires in bubble wrap isn't it? Fine fine, you win then! But seriously, how did you get here?"
Alessia remained quiet, not really finding this whole situation funny. Didn't she just tell him she had no idea how she got here? She blinked, staring at him in disbelief. He was acting so personal with her and she wasn't sure if she liked it or not. Though she couldn't help but remember how he said he apparently wrapped her car's tires in bubble wrap... Why the hell would he do such a thing? I doubt it was me, I would've killed him.. She sighed, still waiting for her answers. The boy had completely gone silence and his expression was even worse now. He was honestly shocked and upset that she didn't remember him. It was starting to make her uneasy with how he looked right now. He opened his lips to speak, but nothing came out. Great, I made him speechless.
Another sigh was given until another male's voice spoke up.
"Wh- what's going on..?"
"Cameron, that you? You okay?"
Alessia turned towards where the blonde haired man whose name was Cameron apparently, was. She scanned him over with her eyes, not really noticing any wounds on him. Really all that seemed wrong was the fact of how dirty and distressed his uniform was. When she went back to his eyes, she noticed he looked surprised to see her here as well. As if he knew her as well. Her eyebrows furrowed. Is he going to claim to know me too? If he was, she was going to start getting annoyed.
"I'm... I'm sure sure. But-"
Alessia looked back at the boy, both of them in a way looking at each other as he asked once more.
"You seriously don't remember me? ... What about Daniel?"
Daniel? Who was Daniel? Did she even know a Daniel? And didn't she just say she didn't know him? So why was he asking again and then asking about someone else. Her headache was never going to end. "Daniel?" She started, looking away from the boy to try to remember if she knew a Daniel... No, no she didn't. Wouldn't she remember a Daniel? Her gaze went back to the boy who seemed almost desperate for her to remember this Daniel guy more than her. Was he important? "No... I don't know a Daniel. Am I suppose to─ is he important? Again, I'm sorry, but I honestly don't know you or anyone by the name of Daniel. If I did I believe I would know. The only person here I know now is the blonde dude named Cameron. And that's only because you just said his name," She pointed to Cameron for a brief second, not really able to take her eyes off the boy who now looked very devastated. She bit her lip. What does he want me to do? Lie?
His expression started to make her uneasy. Okay, I need a break from this... It wasn't that she couldn't handle him, that she couldn't handle this situation, but it was the fact this boy looked so sure that she knew him. As if he would bet his life that she knew him. Which was odd, she wasn't the type of person to forget people. God, this is so fucking frustrating!
Alessia moved onto her feet, wanting this conversation to be done a little. "Anyway," She started, "What is your name and do you two know why we are here? What's going on?" She moved a bit away from them, but kept her voice raised so they could hear her. Her focus now on trying to find something useful for her. Maybe something that could explain why the hell she was here... And more importantly, how.
[Alessia made a Perception Check]

Dice result: 1D10 => 6 Success; you found an item!
Sia took a stroll around the cafeteria checking on and under the tables. In the end, all she was able to find was a big wrapped bright red lolipop! It wasn't much but better than nothing, right? Also, when she saw blood on one of the tables - from the previous events with Elisabet, Arielle and Thalia - she felt a weird tingling sensation down her spine.
Item: a lolipop (health +1)

Cameron groggily wiped his eyes and frowned. His head being clouded over what happened, heck. Even what happened last time, he was wondering what else wouldn’t happen? Not to mention Naya dying as well, he felt strange about that. Sure, he was upset over her dying and Emery but.... Something was strange with her, heck. Even Emery said something on that and he was weary about everything.
As for Emery, he was more or less upset over that and it certainly didn’t help him (or his turning stomach) over the fact she got hanged. Just fucking hell... Maybe he could stall the topic, they were talking about what? Daniel? Maybe he could just join a side an- nevermind. He shook his head, Alex deserves to know... He already stalled what happened with Elizabeth and that... Didn’t go so well.
"Cameron, that you? You okay?"
Cameron sighed, blinking a bit and smiled a little, saying wearily. “Hey, name-tag. Still goin’ on okay....?” He said with obvious uncertainty in his voice, are any of us really okay? He thought as he stood up and was trying to fix his posture. His attention suddenly went to Alessia, than straight to Al and that’s when he noticed- “What happened? Y-Your.... Blind?” He said, looking at him and stood their in shock, paralyzation and not quite sure what to do.

Alessia seemed to be unfazed by Daniel's name, as if she had been asked if she knew some random person from eight years ago. And as she continued speaking in an obviously irritated and confused tone, Alex's frown deepened. "No, I don't know a Daniel," she replied. "Am I suppose to─is he important?"
She continued rambling on in much the same way, but Alex wasn't hardly even listening. "Um yeah. Just a bit," he answered slowly, the sarcasm hinted on his tongue as he spoke. "I mean, you guys are practically in love with each other." He honestly couldn't believe it. How can she not remember Daniel of all people?
It sounded downright absurd to him... and also deeply concerning. If she had forgotten someone, he might possibly--though very reluctantly--understand himself being one of them despite how long they'd known each other; same for Cameron. Hell, there was still the slightest possibility she was trying to pull one over on his blind eyes as her special little payback for him being the ass he was (of which he was always proud of). But there wasn't any reason for her to so adamantly joke with him about not knowing who the hell Daniel was and pretend like he didn't even exist... especially not Daniel. She wasn't cruel to pretend something like that about her best friend. And he doubted that his brother would've been in on something like that either...
And that had to mean she was telling the truth.
The realization hit him like a brick. So she really doesn't remember anything, the ravenhaired whispered in his mind as he bit the inside of his lip. He was honestly glad he couldn't see her face right now... He was extremely sure that she wasn't even remotely believing him right now. And that thought was all but being proven as he heard her response, causing him to scowl in frustration.
"Look, I'll prove that I know you, okay?" Alex replied matter-of-factly, determined to make her believe him. He had to prove he knew who she was before he was going to get anywhere with her, and he didn't have to see her in front of him to know what she looked like; being blind only helped his case a lot more. "You have blonde hair, with pink and black streaks. Oh. And dreadlocks. Like a hell of a lot of dreadlocks. And you have grey or really pale blue eyes. Not sure exactly what color since I'm usually running away from you so you don't kick my ass. But you have a flower tattoo on your lower left arm-" he continued while pointing to the spot on his own arm in indication, "-and several piercings on both ears. And right now, you are probably wearing a ton of jewelry and some kind of grungy outfit like you usually do. Right?"
Pausing for a second, Alex let his analysis settle in before waving his hand unseeingly in front of his face in a pointed gesture. "Like I said, I've known you for years," he breathed out with a forced chuckle as his hand lowered once more. However his earlier smirk had slowly lowered into a frown, his next answer to her question causing his chest to tighten. "My brother, Daniel, knows you a lot more though," he admitted in a quiet yet simple voice. "You guys were--well are--best friends..."
He took a heavy breath as the room quieted, his own thoughts wandering. He didn't want to know what Daniel would think if he was here... Those two knew a whole hell of a lot about each other and were practically inseparable, just like him and Misha were. And just thinking about a similar situation possibly happening between himself and his own best friend made the ravenhaired feel even emptier inside; he knew it would destroy him. And he didn't want to imagine how his brother would feel suddenly knowing the person he was best friends with and had been crushing on for years had no clue who he was. He was the most patient person Alex knew, but even Daniel Attiyah had his limits and the younger male didn't want to test what those limits were.
At least he's away and safe, he thought as he exhaled slowly, his body shaking slightly. He didn't like having more people he knew trapped in here with him. And on top of that, this amnesia or whatever the fuck it was was messing with his head. And it didn't help that Alessia's confusing and concerning appearance inside the school couldn't even be explained either. Fucking hell...
His thoughts were thankfully interrupted by Cameron, however, when he heard the guy moving from where his voice had sounded in the room, his footsteps coming closer towards where he was. "Hey, Name-tag," he heard the guy say, causing the darker male to grin a little at the pointed nickname. Typical Cameron, he thought with a smirk, only for it to falter a little when his footsteps suddenly stopped, the blond's uncertain words cutting off.
"What happened?" Cameron asked slowly in an obviously shocked tone. "Y-You're... Blind?"
"Uh yeah," the ravenhaired answered with a short and somewhat hesitant chuckle as his lips pulled up slightly at the corners in a smirk once more; this time, however, in a more sheepish manner. It was a better reaction than getting yelled at, at least. "Like a fucking bat. Except I look a thousand times better," he continued to joke back in a hesitant chuckle, attempting to ease the situation before giving a shrug while the faintest look of bitterness crossed his expression. "But yeah... Was a welcome gift from an old friend."
Following his words, however, he heard someone's footsteps move. And they appeared to belong to Alessia, her voice echoing inside the room not long after. "What is your name and do you two know why we are here? What's going on?" she asked in a series of questions, probably even more confused than before. Not that he could say otherwise; even his head was hurting from all this information.
"I'm Alex," the ravenhaired replied to her with a sigh, unable to hide the overwhelmed expression still etched on his features. "And I think it's a bit long of a story to explain in one sitting... But-" He paused for a moment as he contemplated how best to summarize without freaking her out; if her memories weren't intact right now, he wasn't sure how she'd react to all of this being as overwhelming as it already was. Hell even I'm not sure what all is going on yet, he went on to add inwardly as he moved to speak again. "Basically, we're trapped inside the school. There was an earthquake. And a lot of us... haven't made it."
His brows furrowed a little at the admittance of that statement, the names of those he knew crossing his mind while he took a short breath to act as a moment of silence for the friends he'd never hear or see again before continuing. "But there's a lot more going on here right now. Some really fucked up shit. People are getting attacked and killed. This-" he said as he gestured with his hand towards his eyes, "-is just one small part of it. I-I'm not even sure how to explain the rest. But..."
He paused for a breath, his words heavy as he said them.
"You've basically found yourself in hell, Al."

I feel the pages turning...

Post by Alessia Mason on Sept 12, 2018 20:46:57 GMT
The girl groaned, holding the lollipop she had found in her hand. Is this seriously all I'm going to find? Geez... Whoever put this here is just a tease. Her eyes scanned the room, looking around, refusing that this would be the only thing she could find. But she had to give up the search, not really wanting to look at the same spots over and over. A sigh left her, her right hand laying on a table so she could lean. Looking over the lollipop she found. Well, I hope it's raspberry.. She placed it into her pocket, looking down at the table after she did. Grey eyes took notice of something red and dark on the table. She blinked, her eyes narrowing while she bent over to take a closer look. Which was when she smelled it─ iron.
Quickly the girl realized the blood was still wet, making her jump back, looking at her hand which was now covered in blood. A tingling sensation went down her back, her back arch a little at the feeling. The feeling made her uncomfortable, but instead of freaking out about it, she breathed; keeping herself calm. She looked for something to wipe her hand off, but when she couldn't find anything she resorted to just rubbing her hand on her jeans. They were dirty anyway from laying on the ground.
"Jesus, what the hell happened here?" She asked herself more than the other two. But when she asked that is when she tuned in on the raven-haired speaking once more. She turned towards him, listening to him.
"Um yeah. Just a bit, I mean, you guys are practically in love with each other."
In love? Alessia had to hold back a laugh. When have I ever fall in love? She thought, not really remembering when she ever fell in love. The last time she loved someone, it was her Dad... But that fucker broke her heart so she had sworn off of love ever since. The only person who had her love was her mother and that was it. The girl really wanted to tell that boy this, but she decided against it. I rather just not reply, She turned, again looking in the same place she found the lollipop, hoping to find something else.
"Look, I'll prove that I know you, okay?"
Jesus..
"You have blonde hair, with pink and black streams. Oh. And Dreadlocks. Like a hell of a lot of dreadlocks." Correct[/b] And you have grey or really pale blue eyes." Grey apparently.[/b] "A flower tattoo on your lower left arm, and several piercings on both ears. Right now, you are probably wearing a ton of jewelry and some kind of grungy outfit like you usually do. Right?"
Alessia stood there stunned, looking over herself to make sure he was right. "How the fuck.." Isn't this kid blind!? She looked at her tattoo, which was indeed the same place where he pointed to on his arm.
"Like I said, I've known you for years. My brother, Daniel, knows you a lot more though. You guys were--well are-- best friends..."
She stood there in silence, confusion washing over her face. This kid really did know her, there was no way in hell all of that was just a lucky guess. It also didn't help that it looked like the kid was only recently blinded. So did she really know him and this Daniel guy? And were they friends, and was she really in love with his brother? Then why the hell didn't she remember? She wasn't the type to forget so easily. The sudden questions made her head spin and she had to grab the table by the edge, keeping her balance. This was too much for her head at the moment. If only she had pills that could help this headache she was having. Thankfully the dizziness didn't last long, but it was enough to tell her to stop thinking so damn much and just go with the flow.
So she knew this kid and his brother, but it still didn't help that she just didn't remember. God she felt like a broken record to herself right now. "I guess I'm going to have to take your word on it now... But again, I just don't remember. So, forgive me for not running to hug you," Her tone no longer held annoyance, it almost sounded like she was ashamed she didn't remember. And as much as it would be better for her to just fake it all, fake that she suddenly got her memories back and hug this kid... It wouldn't help. So might as well just stay true to myself..
Cameron then chimed in again, pointing out the obvious with the kid's blindness. Which was when Alessia let them talk and look at another spot one more time. When she done, that was when the kid introduced himself as Alex. "Nice to meet you, Alex... again?" She added, sounding confused and bit off with this situation. She finally stopped looking, giving in that she wasn't going to find anything else in this place. She wiped her dirty hands on her jeans and walked back to the boys. Crossing her arms, listening to what Alex had to say. They were trapped inside the school, there was an earthquake and people have died. Which made Alessia's concern grow. People didn't make it?
"But there's a lot more going on here right now. Some really fucked up shit. People are getting attacked and killed. This-" The boy gestured to his eyes, "-is just one small part of it. I-I'm not even sure how to explain the rest. But... You've basically found yourself in hell, Al."
"Sia," Alessia chipped in, correcting him. "I don't really like that nickname, sorry," She stated. "Also, Hell huh? Hmm, I always wanted to be in hell," She made a joke, which was common to her, it was how she coped with serious situations. "I figured you being a blind was a recent thing. It still looks fresh. So pretty much someone is attacking all of you- well us now, and torturing y'all. Whelp, that explains why both you and him are so dirty and look so tired," She said, pointing to the both of them. She wanted to ask more questions, but she knew she couldn't really handle anymore information overload. Her head was starting to really kill her, and she was starting to get annoyed. There was nothing that could help her in this room, which meant she needed to search somewhere else. But since Alex was blind and there was only three of them, that meant either her or Cameron would have to look... I rather myself.
"Okay, well, I have looked around here and I only found a lollipop, so I think I'm going to go look elsewhere for something. Maybe I can find you a stick that you could hold, Alex. After all, you can't be walking around her just holding onto the walls. You'll end up hurting yourself. So Cameron, just stay here, maybe double check where I looked in here and keep him safe. Cause it looks like he already ran into one wall," She stated, pointing to her nose so he would know what she was talking about. "Okay, I'll be back, if I need help I'll yell." She stated before walking past Cameron, patting him on the back, walking out of the room right after.

"Uh yeah," - "Like a fucking bat. Except I look a thousand times better,"
He rolled his eyes, grumbling in agitation. Atleast Al’s eyes felt like those mood rings from the 90’s; all gloomy and depressed. “Just like us all....” He frowned, “C’mon, get up.” He said, slightly irritated as he his eyebrows creased as Al said:
"But yeah... Was a welcome gift from an old friend."
No- Oh fucking no.... His hands clenched into fists but at the same time, he couldn’t be surprised. If Amanda popped up in the last ‘game’ he was in, than what are the odds that she would also show up for other things. “She just so happens to be Amanda?” Well, sociopath-mentally-deranged-zombie-Amanda to be exact. As Alessia suggested he should stay. He just nodded, “Oh trust me, I don’t wanna go anywhere right now...” He said, grumbling in agitation.

Cameron didn't seem any more amused than Alex felt by the situation as he continued explaining his injury between jokes and vague yet bitter confessions. Though instead of joining in the joking like his classmate was, the guy sounded less surprised and more agitated this time as he spoke again, causing the ravenhaired to frown. "Just like us all," he grumbled in an obviously tense tone before offering to help the darker male up.
Accepting the offer with a strained smile, Alex wasn't sure what his friend meant by that statement. But at least the way it had been spoken wasn't exactly lost on him; they were both battling to stay sane right now amid the terror and fear: himself with his annoying (and sometimes bitter) attempts at humor, and Cameron with his stoic frustration. And as he continued to sarcastically explain the 'source' of his injury, he could instantly feel his friend's hand that was helping him up tense in response, his grip tightening and making the ravenhaired wince a little before they let go.
" She just so happens to be Amanda?" the blond asked after a second in a knowing and concerned tone, the pointed name immediately causing the ravenhaired's eyebrows to raise in surprise.
"Yeah actually," Alex replied back slowly, not expecting his friend to have guessed it so fast right off the bat. Though after a second, his eyes narrowed slightly in concern while the dots seemed to click, his lips parting slowly to speak again. "So- does that mean you saw her too?" he asked with a hesitated breath. "Did she... do anything to you?"
He wasn't entirely sure how to ask without prodding too far into it. Unfortunately, he had no idea what Cameron had been through or what had been up with him since the last time he met up with him well before the earthquake; he didn't even know the guy was in the school at all - though he had an inkling it probably had to do with detention. But despite all of that, it was obvious that the blond knew about their old classmate; he wouldn't say anything about Amanda unless someone told him or he had experienced something himself, and that reality was concerning enough as it was. Was he tortured too then?
As the conversation shifted towards what was going on, however, Alex couldn't help but smirk a little at Alessia's response. She's seriously not afraid of anything, is she? he thought as he shook his head slightly in amusement. Or... she just hasn't really experienced this place yet...
He didn't dwell on that thought for long though, and merely chuckled a little under his breath at her annoyance towards his stated nickname for her, shrugging devilishly. "Hey, why do you think I call you Al?" he teased, the expression in his eyes despite their blindness not losing their mischievous touch. "Plus Al is an amazing nickname. Only given to the best of the best." At those last words, he made sure to grin in the direction of her voice, fully taking responsibility for his stated compliment towards himself before his face fell as she continued, explaining how she had figured he was recently blinded. And not only that, but how tired him and Cameron looked.
In truth, it was probably the biggest understatement that had been said so far; Alex couldn't speak for Cameron of course, but considering not only the amount of battle scars and bruises that were coating his entire body, his trophy-of-all-wounds displayed ever-so prominently on his face, and the weight of a thousand fears and emotions coursing through every inch of his frame, he was far beyond the point of exhaustion - merely running on pure determination at keeping his family, his friends, and his loved ones safe as long as he could.
But he couldn't really explain the feeling he had right now - the one that was gripping his chest and making it harder for him to breath as series of shivers continued to bite at him from underneath his skin... Whether it was from Alessia because of her amnesia and the fact she was here or from something else, he wasn't sure. But he just felt so... empty. And scared. He knew something bad had happened, but all he was left with was the anxiety of not knowing why or for what reason. And he was sure those in the room with him could see it clearly written all over his face as his body shook slightly.
Breathing in a little to help clear his head, he tried to focus on something else as it was becoming harder to shake off the ominous feeling. Though it didn't seem like Alessia was up for listening to more of the conversation as her voice broke through the room, shifting the ravenhaired's attention back towards her for a moment. "I think I'm going to go look elsewhere for something," she informed them. And immediately, Alex's eyebrow rose inquisitively, his head rising towards where her words were coming from.
"Wait," he warned as he heard her footsteps echo in the room as she moved, "you shouldn't go alo-"
"Maybe I can find you a stick that you could hold, Alex. After all, you can't be walking around here just holding onto the walls. You'll end up hurting yourself."
Her footsteps didn't stop as she spoke and he automatically blinked in response, feeling somewhere between frustrated and appreciative. Is she fucking serious? he muttered inwardly. He had just told her people were being tortured and now she wanted to go explore by herself. ...Fucking hell, Alessia! "That's sweet of you and all, even though it's a bit late on the hurt thing," he replied back in a pointed tone, his brows narrowing a little in a firm look, "but I seriously think you should-"
"So Cameron, just stay here, maybe double check where I looked in here and keep him safe-"
"What the fuck!"
"-cause it looks like he already ran into one wall."
"Excuse you, I like running into walls. But that's not the point, I- Al!"
Alex stood standing there blindly, his brows narrowed into an exasperated expression as he listened to the sound of Alessia's footsteps wander right past the two males and off into the distance in front of him, ignoring his protests completely. He could hear Cameron voice his agreement in staying, but before he could get another word in--of which he had plenty--he heard the click of a door shutting closed, signaling their unexpected (and frustratingly stubborn) companion had left the room.
"I think I'm starting to understand how Misha feels now," the ravenhaired joked under his breath as he let out an annoyed breath, his arms folded across his chest in a matching posture to his tone. "And here I thought I was the one with the blind bravery." He smirked a little despite his frustration at the quick joke, letting out a short and breathy chuckle before his smile faded away into a frown.
Now that Alessia he was gone, he was left with the weight of everything that was happening now and all this new, ominous information: Alessia was in the school too apparently. And not only did she not know who he was, but she had completely forgotten Daniel. And she had absolutely no idea of how she got there at the school either. Nor did she seem to understand what was going on. It was like she had only just now woken up, and he had no idea whether it was because she had been knocked out from the very beginning or she had somehow found her way inside the school, or-
Or something brought her here, Alex muttered inwardly as he immediately bit his lip at the thought, the shivers racing up and down his spine seeming to intensify at the very words. Was it even possible? He honestly had no idea, nor did he know what his brother's best friend was doing here. But it had to be for a reason. And he found himself wishing he had Misha or Emery there with him right then. Maybe if they were, they could have talked some of this through with him and helped him make sense of it all... Or most importantly, ease his fears and the worries currently gripping his mind as to the possibilities for the emptiness he was feeling right now.
Please let them be okay, he prayed silently in his mind as images of their faces flashed in his mind, causing his chest to tighten as he bit his lip. Please God...

Dice result: 1D10 => 1 Absolute failure; -1 sanity point.
Sadly luck didn't come Cameron's way. “Oh trust me, I don’t wanna go anywhere right now...” the man said as he looked around the room, searching for nothing in particular when he felt "sharp sound" piercing his ears. "̴͡A̶m͝a̴͠n̴͡d҉a͢?̛!̶͡͞ Ą̧H͞A̧H̀͘͢A̧H̕͝A̡H!̴̀ AH҉AH̀HA̷H̕͠HÁ̶͘HA̷͘͡H̷̛́!͏̡͡.̸̧̀.́͜.̵ ͢S̶͟͟h̀͘ę͘ is g͞͏̧o̧n̵͝e,͢"̸̕, the voice said and disappeared, leaving Cameron with an unbearable inducing headache.
