"Nancy..Nancy, listen to me. Everything you did was just right, okay? Someone who must be going to this school has some unfinished business with all of you and is playing sick games. But you are strong okay?"
Kat forced her to look at her by pulling her face up. Some unfinished business...? But... with all of them? Why... She couldn't think of anything terrible she had done to someone in her life. Except Thalia, but if their lives hadn't been on the line, she had never done that either. So... who was this person? She couldn't think of anyone who held a grudge against the drama club. Of course she didn't know everyone's business. She felt how the brunette pulled her into a comforting hug. Just finish your business already........Strong...was she really? She didn't feel like it at all. Before the earthquake she had thought she was strong, able to handle every possible situation. But now she saw how wrong she had been. Oh, how wrong...
"Nancy in a world of mysterious texts and deaths...how do you manage to additionally get freakin' nose bleeding?!"
Shrugging and not really up for faking a laughter, she replied nasaly: "I don't know..." She did get nosebleeds quite easily, but she didn't know where it was coming from now. But who knew, maybe it was magic too. Dark magic. Her gaze shifted to the doll. Maybe... But the name said Veronica and not Nancy, after all. So it shouldn't be it... Kat stood up and tried to break the windows, without success. When she came back, she continued to stroke over her back caringly. It was almost like back in the old times when Nancy had scratched her knees open or anything and cried, Kat comforting her... Forever ago, but so fresh in her memory.
"I was just with them a while ago. Phillip isn't speaking... either he can't or refuses to... Thalia has been very protective of Phillip. "
Full of hope, she turned to Pidge. Phillip.... maybe he was harmed just like Alex..... or he had witnessed something so terrible that he was so traumatized he didn't want to speak anymore... She honestly couldn't blame him. Ah, yeah, that sounded like Thalia. At least they were alive, well and together. That was relieving...
"She confessed her love to him... that probably explains the protectiveness."
Uh? Wait, what? Astonished, Nancy glanced at the tech-girl and blinked a few times. So she finally did it. Nancy had known - or assumed - that Thalia was in love with Phillip. She was glued to him all the time, after all.. But it didn't seem to bother Phillip so Nancy wouldn't say anything about it. Though, if he loved her too...? She couldn't tell. He liked girls a lot, but not a particular one as far as she knew. "I'm glad...." At least those two were alright, she just hoped the same applied for Arielle.
"Your aunt, Nancy..." She raised her head again. "she... she hasn't been well." What..? How? Her foot maybe? The unconsciousness? "she had been in a downward spiral... tried to kill herself a couple of times. She mentioned something about it starting this June."
Her eyes widened in shock. "K-kill herself..? But- why? A couple of...?? .....June.... June?", she repeated bits of what Pidge had told them, trying to process it somehow. She also tried to remember what happened in June, searching through her memory, but it didn't relinquish anything.

Phones...? "I turned my phone off a while ago....", she mumbled, but nevertheless pulled it out. She stared at it for a moment, afraid of turning it back on, afraid of more messages. No. She wouldn't turn it on. But the date of the earthquake? "That day was the 16th september, I know that for sure. What... what day is it now? I don't even know...." She put her phone away again and stood up to see if there were more items to be found.
