Let's raise hell

“Considering what she just went through, she probably went to get some air,” Esme answered.
Peyton looked up and sighed, brushing her fingers through her short hair. She started thinking about the state of this place. Now that she had answers, maybe she can start coming up with some theories. The impossible was possible now. She needed to start laying out their options. The raven haired had always told herself that if she could get answers, she could find a way out. And that’s exactly what she’s going to.
Peyton got on her feet and stuck all of the notes in her pocket.
“I’m going to look around. We need to find a way out of here. I think I have an idea of where we are, but I need to make sure,” she said.
“Be careful with the knife. Who knows what sort of weirdness is on there.” Esme said.
Peyton nodded. “If Dawn comes back...tell her I’m sorry.”
She walked out of the room, static feeling her head.

“Good. Theories are nice to have. I’ll go look for Dawn and make sure she’s okay. I’d say call me but my phone’s dead.”
The smile on Esme’s face barely reached her eyes. Peyton was someone she could count on. Here she was worried something would happen. Instead, differences being put aside made them the same amount. As she approached the door, she heard Peyton ask her to pass on an apology. Smiling, she nodded.
“Will do.” [end?]
